Works like a charm
By , for WP 4.4.2

Had no idea this existed. Was able to mod the functions.php to expand the exif data and move it into the description of every photo uploaded. This was something I havent been able to do to photocrati nextgen.

Didn't work for me
By , for WP 4.3.1

For me it didn't work. Many problems. Also unistalling problems using the plugin's embeded unistall.

Great plugin (so far)

Many options, seems to work well. I love the speed and the fact that clicking on a photo does not open to a new page. But options such as sorting are hard to use because they are overridden in the widget dialog for a particular gallery. TN resizing is also misleading because gallery's TN size is also set in the widget.

better than nextgen gallery

backward compatible with nextgen, and now it's easier and (imho) better than nextgen

So happy I found this plugin

I've been 'not updating' NextGEN since 1.9.13. Had it set up the way I liked, and didn't have time to learn a whole new version, with all of its so-called improvements. Very happy to find this fork, it has already addressed some old bugs. Keep up the great work!

P.S. NextCellent Gallery plugin is fully compatible with NGGallery. But before using it, you should disable NGGallery because these two plugins cannot be activated at the same time.
