This plugin allows you to pull all the recent posts from the blogs in your WordPress network and display them in your main site (or internal sites)
This plugin does a fantastic job of displaying our posts from our other blogs on our main site.
Support is unparalleled as well as quick updates to any bugs that are pointed out. Thank you very much. I highly recommend!
The plugin is really useful and the support is great, they helped me a lot ans solved every problem I had due to my limited knowledge :) 5 stars! ;)
We were originally using feedburner widget to display most recent posts on our homepage. When we recently converted site to SSL, the feedburner widget was throwing SSL security errors.
When we discovered Network Latest Posts, we were amazed at the features, customization possibilities, and the great support provided by José for the plugin.
This plugin is better also because it's one less external request, which results in faster page load.
Like Jose, I looked everywhere and couldn't find a plugin that did exactly what I needed. Fortunately Jose took the initiative and created "Network Latest Posts", which has integrated flawlessly into my Multisite Install! Also, his support has been phenomenal!
Thanks for your great work!!!
I live the idea of this plug in, and the functionality was correct but sometimes complicated. However, after a server upgrade that included moving to PHP 5 (specifically 5.5) this plug in no longer functions properly. The selection and exclusion features which are key to this plug in functioning are based on a deprecated php function - that means it's using something that PHP no longer supports. The plug in can be fixed, but so far two updates have gone by without any move to address this issue. So for now, this plug in is a 1 star, as it's based on code that not everyone can or will support, and is no future proof either.
Just what I needed, works very well, thanks!
I use this plugin in a variety of ways including:
It is very flexible, allowing styling by site-id, so each blog post can look unique depending on which site it originated from.
Would give five stars but doesn't paginate pages correctly. It keeps them all on page one for example. If your on page one it will show http://yourblog.com and on page 2 it will still show http://yourblog.com instead of http://yourblog.com/page/2/ which is the correct way to go about it. Other than that excellent plugin. Plus if you paginate the pages correctly the pages load a lot faster.
Works fine in wordpress 3.7.1.
However it would be nice with some minor improvements.
Fx it would be nice to able to choose what kind of metadata to show. It took me a while to resolve this.
There's also some issues with the designoutput, but maybe it is my theme that's giving me a hard time.
Very good plugin, perfect for what I was after
