A small plugin which allows you to use nest shortcodes (i.e. a shortcode within an enclosing shortcode) by implementing a simple do_shortcode filter
I was worried about my nested shortcodes not being displayed which ultimately results into poor UX.
Finally, I stumbled upon this plugin which uses a valid WordPress.org recommended method to enable adding Nested Shortcodes.
Thanks a lot for this awesome plugin.
And to note, this is the only plugin existing for adding nested shortcodes, so go for it.
Does extremely well. Thanks.
Hi there, I haven't had a chance to try your plugin so I can't give it 1 star, at the same time, I can't give it more than 2 because it causes some type of jquery error in my woocommerce checkout page. It took me about an hour to figure out which plugin was causing the error. Thank you for developing it, it's a great idea but I hope you do update soon ^^
It works, all nested short-codes are parsed.
You are my hero.
Installed and bam! It worked.
Several other options I tried previous to this did not work for me, but this was simple, lightweight and zero hassle.
I am very happy.
My website is bilingual and the way the translation is done requires wrapping text in shortcodes. Nesting allowed me to extend in navigation, as now it's possible to translate the output of other plugins. And if I want I can always turn it off.
The plugin does exactly what it's supposed to do. After installing it, I was able to nest shortcodes without a problem.
