I have over 50 pages in my site. My site is personal, not commercial - so, I am the low-skilled developer. Without your plugin it was a nightmare just to add one page. Dragging up through 30+ bouncing menu items, screen by screen.
I put in a WP request to have your plugin incorporated as a WP Menu standard feature. It should be part of WP.
Excellent plugin, thank you very much.
I'm using it for a couple of sites with large menu's and it works like a charm! Thanks so much for making this plugin to make our lives easier Faison!
Great plugin. As a newcomer to wordpress I expected this functionality to be included as standard. Navception makes it possible to resuse menus and preserve consistency across a UI.
This is just what I needed. It works as you'd expect it to, and the nicest thing is that it slots seamlessly into the rest of the menu UI too. Thanks!
I missed this feature in WP so much! Thanks!
You can find out why I created Navception in the Description under Navception's Inception, but let me tell you why I like what I created.
First, Navception does everything I hoped to accomplish with writing it. I can make a small menu that shows up by itself in a sidebar, and then I can embed it as a Nav Item into the Main Menu with little effort (not including the effort used to create Navception). Now when I update that sidebar menu, guess what, the Main Menu benefits from that update!
Second, I learned a great deal about the WordPress Menu system (which is begging to be updated). For example, check out wp_nav_menu_item_taxonomy_meta_box, I was able to tap into that function to have WordPress create the Nav Menu box in the Nav Menu editor for me. It's pretty wild!
Regardless, you should try this plugin, because even though you might not need it now, if you do in the future, you'll know what to use: Navception!
