Fast and easy integration of word search puzzles into your blogs.
Had a client that specifically wanted a wordsearch for kids visiting the site to be able to play with. This is one of the more obscure functions I've ever had to look for, so I was a bit worried given the lack of options. I am impressed with how beautifully this plugin is able to work with my theme (picking up some css elements and allowing me to change others). The functionality is also simple and very user-friendly. Found myself spending more time than necessary "testing" it (:
I would offer two suggestions to the developers. One would be to update more frequently, even just to ensure it is working with the current version of WordPress. That was one of the things that almost made me decide not to try the plugin. Second would be to make it optional to not have the active link to the developer site display below the puzzle (without having to go mining in the code). Especially for clients who want to offer the game to kids, there are safety / liability concerns about potentially sending them offsite. Don't mind the credit at all, but think that active link should be easier to remove.
Very please with this plugin. Nice and simple to use. I am using it on a community website for Horley Town in Surrey UK to entertain our visitors. It gives a complex puzzle which intrigues our visitors.
It's a great plugin that works without breaking my site, but would be a fantastic plugin if it allowed for creating multiple wordsearch puzzles instead of just creating one puzzle with numerous words to draw from. That way, a puzzle could be created for different topics.
I've checked the box that will notify me of followup posts. Hope you develop an update to this plugin that will make the suggested improvement.
This plug-in is what my community of users needed to help take away the stress of the day while visiting the site. It is therapeutic and FUN! I believe any community website webmaster ought to have these fine plugins available to their users!
This is a great puzzle plug-in. I plan on using it on the website I am creating for a preschool. http://www.stdavidskids.com I think it would be great if there was a way to add multiple puzzles for the different age groups and classes. If yu ever do, I will deffinately use it more.
