I like the design and features of it.
I use MCM on many different sites and it always gives me the flexibility to achieve whatever I need. I use it regularly for Staff pages and Testimonials, as well as various other content types depending on my clients' needs. It can be easily used right out of the box, but takes awhile to learn all the advanced features it has to offer. I have contacted Joe for support a few different times, and he is always very helpful and quick to respond.
I just have to say, that after spending 2 days looking for a WordPress plugin for an employee directory, and finding that every one either could not incorporate my data fields or was inflexible in styling, My Content Management is the perfect answer to anyone like me–with coding skills but no WordPress experience–looking to incorporate specific information requirements into a WordPress posts and pages. My Content Management ties together custom posts, fields, taxonomy, and templating in a way that make them easy to incorporate my requirements into an off-the-shelf WordPress theme. I took the leap and bought the manual (because so many WordPress purchases turn out to be disappointing), and found it to be essential to getting the most out of the plugin. I can’t believe how flexible your plugin is, and how quickly I’ve been able to produce with it.
Today Joe updated MCM to include the ability to create custom fields and associate them with any specific post types. With this addition, this plugin is an all in one solution for easy post type development. Not only is the plugin great, but Joe's support for his plugins is unmatched. Fantastic as always Joe!
The only problem I didn't found where to put templates for my custom types in 3.5 twentytwelve child theme and links to single records also didn't worked. Maybe just need more knowledge from The Guide :)
