A plugin taht lets you export only your WordPress menus via the WordPress Export page.
This is just what we wanted and needed. 4 stars only because the custom menu locations in our theme weren't associated, but it was literally a 30 second effort to reassign the menus to their locations on the new import.
It works Great. Thanks
Exports JUST the menus, perfect solution for what I needed!
So pleased to see this plugin works with the latest version of WP 3.9.2
It still works, and does exactly what I wanted - Export all the Menus on a very large Site. Thank you soooo much :) Saved a lot of time, by having to re-import/add pages to one menu (over and over again) until many menus were included. Awesome. Thank you again.
This plugin is great, although just wish a simple update of any kind would be great just to bring more users that could benefit.
None the less, this plugin is great because when you have multiple menus needed to created from a previous site. Instead of importing pages and then recreating the menus this plugin will do all of it in one go. It will export the menus, but the pages as well for those associated menu items and media attachments if needed. It keeps the hierarchy of the menus. And last is that if you the pages are already in your site it will by pass those pages rather than creating duplicates because it works just like the native WordPress export options.
Install on the site you need the menus from. Export and then just import that .xml file into your newer site. No need to install this plugin on your second (newer) site. So if you are worried about this oldy plugin putting anything in your database or screwing up your new site, no worries!
I used to export and import menu and its still working fine. thanks
didn't worked for me too
I did use several other tools to try transfer two navigations without success. This tool made it super simple. Thank you very much!
Works as expected, thanks for a great plugin!
