Makes Galleries Simple
By , for WP 4.4.2

This is what WordPress is missing out of the box.

I'm building an mediatag/ajax-powered image gallery plugin for this. Will publish it for free on wordpress after my site goes live.

A great way to tag assets in your media library. Makes managing them so much more user friendly.

Saved me!

I found the media tags necessary with large libraries. Tags are working sweetly, and allow batch selection.

Great, simple

Very useful, simple to use. Thank-you.

My dream ? a filter "without" tags or "no tag" in the media library.
A widget ?

Great plugin - Works perfectly

Great plugin - Works perfectly.

Adds manageable tags to all media library items (of any type).

Allows bulk editing of tags, which is great to assign tags to more than one media library item at a time.

Even if you didn't go as far as using php template code for these tags, the plugin is great for organising the mass of items in the media library.

Why this isn't built into WordPress core I don't know.

Great tool for categorization.

Also a good basis for further stuff which it sadly does not provide by itself (galleries).
The listing images by tags functionality both as permalink or shortcode is too limited and ugly to be useful.

gets the job done

So far best solution (with media categories plugin) to organize your Media Library - which is little bit uncomfortable, becouse i just can't understand why you can't make custom folders for your uploaded media - just every CMS i've worked with have this function integrated and for WordPress, there isn't even a plugin for it.
