Excellent plugin. Ignore 1-star reviews.
By , for WP 4.4

This plug is so demanded, and wp itself is so usable what users with no php skills try to install it. And that cause bad reviews.

However, in modern world to have no programming skills = to be illiterate.

Seriously. This is part of school curriculum. Everybody have SOME programming skills.

Images are used in wordpress in thousands ways. It depend on theme. It depend on other plugins. So if you install Media Library Custom Fields and expect some magic - it won't happen. This is backend plugin.
And that's normal.

But if you have a tiny bit of skills - this plugin will help to cast the spell by yourself.

Works very well

This plugin is made for developers, not end users.
Don't use it if you simply want to link your gallery images.

Useless-why bother releasing it?

Hey guys,
Reading previous 1 star review, I thought maybe I'll give it a try since the other guy's install may have had something gone wrong. Well..I wasted 15 min. of my life thinking it will work, but, all I got when pressing on images was a pop up gallery of the images.
Why bother releasing such plugin when it doesn't do the ONE thing it's supposed to do? WTH people...take it off...!

The link didn't work
By , for WP 3.9.1

The fields show up so I can put in a custom link, but when I clicked the image, it went to a page of the image from the media library in its original size instead of to the page of the custom link.

I didn't leave a support message, because I didn't want to leave it there. I want to work on my site until it works. This plugin did not work for me.
