space between lines

it would be nice to be able to configure the space between lines so that the buttons look better.

Could be a great plugin, but slow
By , for WP 4.4.1

It is a great plugin, with many functions, but all these functions with many php files to load make it quite slow...

And I only use a few buttons...

So i switched to another plugin, simpler, slower, and the buttons I use are quite the same

Everything seems fine except for one critical feature...

Unless you buy the pay version. you can't align text to center in a button.
They do give you access to just about every other feature you might need except this one. I'd give them 5 stars if they didn't pull a bait-and-switch since all the examples for this program show text centered. Text is fixed at align to left, so they ask you try and visually adjust the padding to get the text to appear centered on the free version - all well and fine except that fonts display differently on different browsers.

It was working fine for the first couple of months, and yesterday they released an update, I updated as usual and went to sleep

I woke up and found that ALL the buttons on my website were completely missing. Overall, the buttons were missing for over 10 hours before I could get it to work again.

You just cost a user 10 hours of earnings due to your deficient development, well done guys!

Edit: Changed rating

Works with shortcodes, but "display: block;" has to be applied for every button
By , for WP 3.9.1

I needed a button to work with SiteOrigin's PageBuilder. PB's built in button widget does not look or work good at all, and other button plugins were not integrating properly with PB in widget form.

MaxButtons worked for me as a shortcode, and it looked good (though long buttons will split themselves and overlap in a very ugly manner). Applying "display:block;" fixed this, but there's a problem: However, each button is generated with its own CSS.

Hence, the following code:

a.maxbutton-1 {

...will only apply to the very first button you generate, not the second, third, fourth, etc. These additional buttons are generated as a.maxbutton-2, a.maxbutton-3, etc, requiring a new class conditional entry in style.css upon the generation of every button. This is frustrating, not to mention a step that can be easily overlooked.

I chose to use Standout CSS3 Buttons instead, which look similar - if, unfortunately, not as spiffy - and are generated off one class name which allows "display:block;" to automatically apply to all buttons generated.

Additionally, the MaxButtons interface has a bug where the button preview does not show the background gradient chosen. This is an additional stumbling block, especially when one has to go to the MaxButtons interface to create every new button - link and all.
