A CSS3 button generator for WordPress that's powerful and so easy to use that anyone can create beautiful buttons.
the plugin is sadly amazing and so much hard work had been done to make it as perfect as possible. Too good to be true until until the almighty updates descend from up above, then all the amazing advanced buttons that you work hard for DISAPPEAR. Which tells any human with a functional brain DO NOT INSTALL THIS PLUGIN BECAUSE MEASRY WILL VISIT YOU AS SOON AS AN UPDATE COMES ALONG.
I paid for the "Pro" version of this a few years ago. It was supposed to be a one-time purchase and nothing was said about any "expiration date."
Now I find that my copy of the plug-in has been deactivated because my "license has expired."
Honest people don't do business this way. Don't get conned.
used on more than 5 websites without problem on different hosts.
After an update all the buttons disapear from de admin plugin and of course on the website !
Sorry but just a big NIGHTMARE.
What a disaster. I upgraded to Pro, they promised me to send 2 packs, they didn't fulfill their promises. I reminded them, they asked again which packs I want, I answered and nothing. When I mail them now, no reply.
I changed theme, I have a MAxButtons Pro Key, but when i want to put MaxButtons Pro I have to pay again 20 dollars. The MAxButtons Pro isn't worth its money and the support is weak.
Even found that Pro version is disappointing. Total waste of money.
I had problems, their support took several days but still didn’t resolve issues.
Plugin creates massive code bloat for buttons.
I recommend going elsewhere. I used freebuttons.com (non-WordPress) and there are also many other WP button plugins, eg see here: http://www.evohosting.co.uk/blog/web-development/wordpress-web-development/8-of-the-best-wordpress-button-plugins/
I found the button generator too complicated. And when I finally got a button ready, it wasn't responsive.
I purchased the Max Pro Buttons thinking it would be a great solution for all of my buttons needs.
However, they don't tell you that there is no way to line up the buttons in a horizontal row. To have buttons right next to each other (in the case of social media icons for example) you have to somehow navigate and edit the PHP file for that area.
I only use WordPress and don't know how those things work.
Due to this oversight on their part, they are offering me no refund.
Bottom line, if you want the buttons right next to each other in a line, Max Buttons Pro doesn't allow it.
