Crop Featured Images does not work for many users
By , for WP 4.2.2

Try to crop, seems successful, but the image keeps its original proportions when posted. This is an old issue. So far on v1.10, it was not solved.

Fantastic tool, should be a built-in feature in WP
By , for WP 4.2.2

Wasn't working quite right for me the first time I tried it, but with the latest version the author fixed the issue and it's now a perfect addition to all my sites. Saves having to create multiple versions of images in PhotoShop first and then upload to the site, just to be able to control the cropping between sizes. Now I can use one image upload for all cases. Clients love it too. Finally, complete control of the images they upload.

Very cool plugin

Huge timesaver!

Ratios not correct, position not as selected
By , for WP 4.1.2

This isn't working. I select a crop and the outcome isn't what I chose - either the ratio or the position. A critical failure for a photography-based website.

Destroys old crops when new image size is created
By , for WP 4.1.1

Nice, simple plugin, does what it's supposed to, I was enjoying using it for a while until I noticed that some of my crops were disappearing. I like everything about it except for this destructive bug.

lovely, intuitive tool

If you're not happy with the automatic crop WP is applying, this plugin will let you fix the crop in that one image size, leaving the other image sizes alone. Works very well.

Works Great!

Works as advertised!

Works as advertised! Is perfect for my needs.

Every client ever asks for this.

Couple this with setting and using intelligent image sizes for the custom themes you create and you can really allow your clients to easily manipulate how the images they upload appear on the site. All around extremely good.

Even with one small flaw: Best Plugin Ever
By , for WP 3.9.2

Super easy interface and the results are that designers now have fantastic control over every image crop, custom or otherwise. The only flaw is that the popup where the work is done doesn't have a "save" button, only an X in the upper right. Don't click that, just hit "ESC" after you've done all your cropping.
