Kick spam with a highly advanced email validation in comment forms, user registration and contact forms using Mailgun's Email validation service.
I'm using WordPress for a while and I looked for a plugin to verify the emails that the visitors are entering into the forms, and prevent using fake email addresses.
I really enjoyed and am enjoying using the MailGun Mail Validator.
Excellent support; excellent; above excellent!
I did everything they said and logged in, but there were no instructions for what to do afterwards, and the public API key did not work.
Not worth the bother for only a few spammers a day.
This is very useful. It worked with the standard registration page, registration page from my other plugins (3 out of 3), and even profile update page (under a 3rd party profile plugin).
Works nicely and is unobtrusive.
Simple. It works. It's invisible. Just the way I like it.
thanks for this extension
The mailgun plugin works fine once you set it up. However I found it hard to set up. The instructions how to set up the DNS records are hard to follow. Once I found where in my host control panel to set the DNS records things went OK.
