Works -- an update would give peace of mind
By , for WP 4.5.3

I didn't have to change anything for it to work. Stopped a brute-force attack dead.

The plugin author seems to be active, at least in some cases, in the support area. It'd go a long way if he updated the plugin, even a little bit, to show others it's not dead. Thanks, and good work.

Отличный плагин! (Excellent)
By , for WP 4.5.3

Использую его на всех сайтах, работающих на WP. Ничего другого не нужно (разумеется, кроме плагинов Login LockDown, Acunetix WP Security и платной защиты от компании Revisium).

Works in WP 4.4.2

I have this plugin installed on several sites, and it works great. I'm concerned that it hasn't been updated for 2 years, because it is a great plugin, and I would hate to lose it.

Works like a charm !

Lightweight Solution for Brute Force Website Attacks
By , for WP 4.2.2

Login Lockdown is very effective at shutting down the most common type of attack on WordPress sites: a brute force attack using dictionary lists.

This free plugin effectively limits the number of attempts any one IP address can try to log in to your site. It will shut down automated attacks on your site because they rely on thousands of attempts to guess your password. It won't protect you from someone who already knows your password (think ex-employees or purchased password lists), but there are other ways to protect against those issues.

Login lockdown rules great addition to your site

Must have for any WordPress site light weight on the server. I'm getting hit some 40 times a night and I sleep better knowing that I'm protected.

Great plugin but WordFence already has this feature
By , for WP 4.1.1

I have been using this little plugin for many months now, and it has kept all my sites safe. However, I installed WordFence which already has this feature included, so I guess I won't need it anymore.

Thanks to the author still.
