Translate WordPress plugins and themes directly in your browser
I develop plugins and themes, and this is one of the easiest ways to translate them - in fact, in my experience, THE easiest way because it is part of the WordPress environment so there is no other software needed!
First of all, thanks. translating plugins is almost fun with this tool..;)
But I would like to make two small UI suggestions, especially for the "packages"
First I would apriciate an option to remove the theme's or plugins from the screen. These are long lists and finding the plugin I would like to work on involves a lot of scrolling. An hide/shop option from the two main blocks would simplify my search.
The second one is somewhat alike. On a certain site I'm only interested if the languages for that site are available. Say a dutch site, I only really care for the nl_NL availability. So why show the total list of all the possible languages? Of course this should be a setting, but still.. Again, some plugins have almost endless lists of languages and checking where the dutch language is missing is a job.
As last there's a detail I don't really understand.. All the POT files show up next to their plugin but also (all of them) next to Hello Dolly? Weird..
Anyhow, thanks again for a very useful tool..
Thank you Tim for this plugin. Keep in mind to increase scriptpower folks! (not like me in the fist approach). Working very well. Sweet!
Simply, do their job perfectly and easy :)
This plugin is wonderfull and easy to use.
You can have the french translation of Loco Translate here.
Great successor for the late Code Styling Localization, light and user friendly.
I'm realy thankfull. i appreciate it.
Poedit не справлялся с переводом темы, а этот плагин справился. Крайне благодарен разработчикам!
I have used it to translate the english in the Hemingway theme from Anders Noren, and it's a breeze. Shows you the .po-files to edit and creates .mo-files when you save.
Hi, thank you for this plugin. Very similar to Poedit.
I have only problem with mythemeshop themes (codestyling plugin was able to manage them) - it says not not correct mo file (there is missing pot file)
And I really miss searching in original strings...
But thank you
