great plugin
By , for WP 3.9

Its a nice & simple plugin; does efficiently what it seeks to do ...to create a library of links..with lot of customization options.
The weblinks put up as demo alongwith configuration options got me going in no time....
The only improvement i can suggest is to include a feature for display order of fields in add link form.
One thing that i was unable to do was to get search form & button to display in same line. (presently the search button is displayed below search form...may be, i could not figure out how to do it..
)
To include..this is a true 5 starrer
thumbs up

Best Link Utilitie

This Links/Bookmarks Manager works well and it is very flexible.

Did exactly what I needed

Easy to use. Works just like the old "links" that use to be pre-installed on wordpress.

powerful and great features
By , for WP 3.8.1

This is one of the first plugins that I upload into every WordPress install I create.

If you must deal with a heavy load of links - you need this plugin. The features are simple and stellar: ability to organize link presentation (I dig pagination option), the category list as a drop box (I have a long list of categories), and the 'search links'. It makes my list of links usable, customizable, accessible, and inviting. I use my own link list daily - usability is vital for me.

It can be as simple or complex as you choose it to be. I like that. The default settings are fine. I tried some of the other options after I had used it for some time with just the defaults. Then you can really rock, if you want.

note: I do have a bit of trouble with customizing individual libraries - it is not quite clear to me. I mean, once I have a list of libraries, going to the section to name and customize is confusing - the top box only (with 'go' and 'copy from' buttons). I manage to do it through trial and error. That is just me though.

Thank you for a great, powerful and stable plugin!

Admiring the fact the developer still cares about his users.
By , for WP 3.8

I just downloaded this plugin tonight and so far it's been able to fulfill most of my needs, like sharing my links in a stylish, organized and centrally controlled manner.

I had a couple of questions, and asked them here. And Yannick Lefebvre is still so kind enough to answer and search for solutions with me.

The community needs more developers like him, and more functional plugins like his.

Great plugin but needs documentation

This is a great plugin and you can do a lot with it, but it takes work to setup. Have a look at my dutch travel agencies page (it's using WP UI plugin for tabs and accordeon)

The biggest problem I had was figuring out all the options (and working around some bugs).

It doesn't make sense that Yannick does not provide a proper manual... because that would:
1. make the plugin more attractive
2. show off his writing skills
3. an opportunity to advertise the book he wrote

Did not show links
By , for WP 3.6.1

I installed, configured, then added links and NOTHING shows up. Reviewed the support issues and I am not alone. So, this is a FAT plugin that did not perform as described.

Highly functional, and easy to use
By , for WP 3.6

I've found this to be one of the most useful plugins on WordPress, and use it throughout two of my sites to engage members, capture input and build directories. The short learning curve pays back tenfold in the time savings. Also, the developer is very responsive. I love this plugin.

Lack of Documentation and Overwhelming UI
By , for WP 3.5.1

I installed this plugin months ago, as I was bitten by the bug to round up all of my links to present on my personal blog. This plugin seemed to hold promise, due to its seemingly flexible configuration (judging by the screenshots). However, once I got into it to attempt to put it to use, I found that the lack of proper documentation (I don't learn from looking at pictures - read: screenshots) an incredibly complicated UI made it too much of an effort to get past the learning curve.

Unfortunately, I'm going to uninstall this and look for something a little easier (and I'm a coder and engineer).

Best of luck to the developer, and if he does provide documentation and unclutter the UI at some point, I may try this again.

How About Some Documentation???
By , for WP 3.5.1

I am sure this plugin is very powerful based on the huge number of options it has, but it is so overwhelmingly complex that it is almost unusable. There is almost no documentation on how to use it other than a few links to example sites and a couple FAQs. If you go to the plugin homepage there is nothing. Could atleast put a basic quickstart guide together to get people up to speed? I am in IT and I am struggle to figure this thing out.
