T(-) Countdown will display a highly customizable, HTML5 countdown timer as a sidebar widget or in a post or page using a shortcode.
This is a straight-forward, very efficient countdown plugin that looks nice (use Jedi if you're not so sure about the Star Wars theme -- it's plain white) and is easy to adjust to your needs.
Make sure you're using a responsive style if that is important to you. Most of theirs are, but I was using one that wasn't and that gave me layout problems--but a post to the support pages provide a quick response that helped solve my problems :-)
I tried to use other countdowns that were free but none worked. This was very easy to use and I have no problems. Might consider upgrading.
I liked this when it worked but now I just get an unstyled column of titles and numbers. Deleted the app.
The digits are purposely (I guess) styled so small that they wrap around, the height of the background is purposely styled to be smaller than the digits. I tried the 'tie-fighter' style of the plugin. Not going to bother with other styles as they're probably not styled any better.
Beautiful design and lots of options.
Took me less than five minutes for a basic set up.
Very smooth transitions as time passes.
Exactly what I was looking for in a countdown timer.
Would like to see it continue counting backwards when event passes.
No real cons, it does what it advertises and very well at that.
Having looked at a number of countdown plugins, this was by far the best - flexible options, good documentation and very good support.
It's really a helpful plugin. It has met all of my requirements. A lot of functionality. Rich Documentation...
