I've been racking my brain for days with numerous other Pinterest 'hover' plugins (even the one generated from Pinterest site) with no success. I installed this one, READ the instructions and voila!
Really great job on this plugin!!!!!!!
Not work with "gallery" WP post type.
Nice plugin, good support, and the only Pin-it plugin worth using. I've tried them all and this is the best. The others all caused various conflicts in my site, and I have plugin heavy...almost 60 plugins...and this one blends with zero conflicts.
Also, it's really easy to select where you want the pin to show up, image sizing minimums, custom pin images, and also location of the pinit button on the image.
I'm using the pin-it button in a unique way, as I have created a series of pin-boards that promote the collectible resource listings on my website. When I add a new listing I pin-it to the board. This is a great traffic driver.
The only feature I would like to see added to the app...it only allows for personal FB pages...in the future it would be great if I could use the FB post option to also post to my FB Business Page.
This plugin is extremely easy to use with just enough settings to keep it simple but also highly customizable.
On initial install with a WooTheme (Canvas), this plug-in included itself in every thumbnail, featured image, etc all over the site, even when set to just posts. I had to pay a professional to make some changes within the code to get it to function properly. Now that the new update is out, it no longer works in Safari properly. The pin-it button actually shows up "floating" somewhere below the image and there's no transparency over the image on mouse-over anymore. It still functions in Firefox, though. This plug-in has been a thorn in my side since I installed it.
This plugin collapses the functionality of "Justifed image grid" and "image wall" plugins.
Thank you for this addon. It is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Easy to install and use.
Very good plugin i'm currently using on Tiploot.com. Sharing is now better than ever.
I tried the one by Canha first, but the placement of the Pin It icon was allover the place, even though I kept choosing the right corner. You also had to edit it in the css section, and it messed up the layout of my gallery pictures.
I tried this one next, and it was so much easier to use! You can make all of your changes in the settings, which is much more convenient. It also has an easy section to choose where you want the icon to be, the opacity level, and you can upload your own image or url. Exactly what I was looking for- I love the level of customization! The only thing that bothers me, is that the pin icon still doesn't show up for images that are in a gallery. Everything else is great though!
If you want to add your own custom "Pin It" to your site, this is the plugin. I've tried half a dozen others, but this one is the only one that fits all my needs (including the ability to choose where the button shows up on the image).
