I am rating 4 stars (should be 4.5) because I can't compare it with other eCommerce plugins for WordPress and my loyalty to VirtueMart for Joomla.
However, I believe JigoShop is a great choice. Plugin is very nice, simple - but largely extensible - and quick doing his job.
The biggest star is from their support, no matter what and when they answer usually within 24 hours and comes with a solution not later than another 24 hours later. It's just amazing!
I've had lots of problems with Jigoshop in the past, but the last few updates have seen a dramatic improvement in stability. Whereas it used to break something *every* time there was an update to Jigoshop, it seems fairly stabilized now. And, feature-wise, it's definitely maturing. Good work dev team!

Jigoshop helped me to solve all the problems I used to have with other shopping plugins and services.
I have developed a lot of e-commerce sites over the years. There is no perfect solution for e-commerce out there, whether you're using WordPress or not. Of all the WordPress e-commerce plugins I have tried, Jigoshop is definitely the best plugin if you need a full-blown e-commerce solution. It's not perfect, but it comes pretty darn close. I have generally been quite happy with their support, especially considering that their support is free.
Had some issues when updates are performed to wordpress knocking out plug ins but we have always found the jigo shop support team to be excellent at getting problems solved quickly. Their team must be offering 24 hour working support to be so efficient.
Happy with the continual improvements and especially the e-commerce tracking dashboard that has appeared with the latest update.
Future improvements I'd love to see are the ability to analyse customers by lifetime value. So essentially to be able to look at a customers order patterns without needing to download to an excel spreadsheet. This would also be useful for email segmentation. I posted a request for support on WordPress about my site crashing when updating Jigoshop. Marcin was a big help and my site is now updated.
I posted the issue to the boards and was told to email support. I didn't hear back so I posted back to the boards 2 more times and emailed again a few times. Still no response. Finally I emailed one more time this morning and I received a message back stating that they hadn't received any of my emails. They will respond if they get your email so keep trying.
Recent support has been fast and helpful. I've found bugs here and there, especially with other languages, but they are working them out.
Having used jigoshop in a few websites I find it easy to use and my clients have found it straightforward for their needs too. I haven't needed to set up anything too complicated and this does the job.
Recent support has been great with an issue with my child theme of a premium theme and they sorted out my problem quickly.
I've tried other plugins and this one is very well featured. It's like woo commerce but they have a great support team here. They're responsive and really work hard to solve the problems i'm having with the software.
