its a good investment, especially if you're patient
This plugin i try to installed it for testing and many option to config and load my website to slow down, I just want some feature of this plugin.
Its just plain too big and does too many things. I abandoned Jetpack and downloaded a few plugins to give me only what I need.
I tried to use Jetpack and Revolution slider on 2 of my websites, unfortunately every time I installed Jetpack my slideshow disappeared.
But at overall it is good plugin.
My website speedtest jumped for about one second eache time i activated this plugin, i wanted the functionallity but i preffer to pass in this one.
When I activate jetpack, my blog post page doesn't show any blog post header, images, sidebar and footer. Why is it happening and how can I fix this issue?
Jetpack is the most powerful plugin that i've never used..of course you must choose the right modules to activate otherwise it will mess up your whole website for the no compatibility.
That i don't like and piss me off is the stats module, it never knows the search queries it's always "unknown" so you can't never build your keywords with it :(..i hope it will be fixed
I update wordpress to version 4.4 few day ago and i saw the problem,my post image cannot display with tiles gallery anymore??? ( other style too. ) now it show standard style. What can I do? What can you do?
thank for read this issue.
It's an OK plugin, but I only use a couple of the features.
One of them is sharing posts to (in my case) FB, Twitter and Google+. On Google+, posts are private and in spite of the many threads and info on this, they still are. Maybe it has to do with G+ moving settings around.
I never saw the option when connecting, and re-connecting doesn't show a setting either. On G+, I can't find the setting described in the Jetpack help.
Maybe it's time to move on to another solution for sharing?
I'm usually quite generous to hard working teams who wants to created great things. But I must be fair an admit that my experience with JP isn't that satisfying as it was so hype once i've try to install this plugin for the first time.
The reasons why i'm giving 3 stars is because, i find it too much resource demanding. It's Heavy and slowing down all mi sites. No matter how many modules i deactivate, jsut having it installed it is a huge loading page speed decrease. I'm currently keeping active 8 modules.
Now, i suppose JT team believe that once you install it, you shouldn't need any other additional pluging. Why ? Otherwise, a solution to make it less heavy ( not bloating your site ) would have been found in about 1 year.
Maybe taking in consideration the installation of each module remotely, separated might improve it...
Is indeed cool the idea the 1 plugin solution, but you can't pretend to cover all the needs of a user adding some great modules, between some other which are below the average, just show a big cake, where just few slices are the good one to eat. I hope this last analogy make sense in the end.
Then, To have a few modules which i really do love love to have, i must bloat my site, and slow it down till the point that a user leave my site ? I don't find it a big deal. No to mention that that google take loading page speed as PR factor.
I'm running a VPS, 6 VCores, on Debian, 8 Gigabites RAM, don't tell me is not enough. because once JP is uninstalled i gain amazing loading speed, and i said it all now.
Good luck for the future. I found 3 stars more than generous, for not minding such important matter and didn't found a solution for over a year.
