Jetpack modules used to be fun. Since my site is eCommerce in nature, the compulsory connection to an external site becomes a security hazard. However, in fact many of the JetPack modules do not require connection to WordPress.com to function. Now I can't use Jetpack anymore for security reasons.
Not Connect jetpack, not блять Connect, Only God knows why, even Google does not know
can you encode/decode punycode in next version?
I install Not Connect jetpack
i lot of time ask from support
but every time send an sablon mail to rate the support
the support is a giant 0
Dadurch dass die Jetpack server alle in den USA stehen, kann ich wirklich keinen Dienst von Jetpack empfehlen. Immerhin funktioniert alles, was ich getestet habe!
Funktionalität ist wirklich toll. Aber nur wenn man wirklich genau dass alles nutzen möchte.
Several of the themes I use cannot have JetPack running when go to do any kind of changes by using customize (fonts, layout, sliders, etc.) Get a big 'error' page. Turn off JetPack and everything works. Happens whether its the normal 'customize' in the WP admin menu or a specialty "customize theme" which a few use. This has only been happening since the last JetPack update.
Jetpack consistently maintains the issue of not being able to function properly due to .htaccess issues. None of the support on jetpacks official forum has been able to permanently resolve a solution. No files are being blocked by the server, pingback is still having issues. Common error "Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible
Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP 406]" induces a cycle of fury that even rolling back to a previous jetpack version (when it worked) does not solve. No plugin compatibility issues, no theme issues, just a jetpack issue. I hope there is a solution soon.
My site crashed after updating this plugin. I had to deactivate Jetpack and have now lost my stats.
Do not update this plugin to version 4.0 or else your blog may crash. It's happening to many people already. Do not be a victim, you may not like the results. If the Jetpack Team is seeing this, find something to do about this issue.
I'm happy I haven't updated mine yet.
I tracked down the trouble and it's in the menu interface with Jetpack. When the men has any submenus and Jetpack is connected to WordPress, I get a 500 server error across my whole site. When i deactivate Jetpack, the site comes back up. When I activate it again, but don't connect it to WordPress, it still works fine. But the moment I connect to WordPress again, all hell breaks loose and the site is down once more. I like Jetpack, it would be nice to be able to use it.
For reference, I'm using Elegant Themes Divi Theme 2.7.3
