Whoever is responsible for deciding whether or not this plugin is ready for widespread release needs to be fired. NOW.
It's not my theme, it's not any other plugin. I've attempted to update to JetPack 4.1 from a number of different themes, with other plugins installed and with just JetPack installed. No matter how I attempt this, having JetPack 4.1 installed wrecks my site. If I use a static front page, if I click to go to the page designated for my blog entries, it shows the directory index screen! WTH guys?
Oh, and to make matters worse... once I identified the problem, I kept JetPack, but just just didn't update to the new version. Imagine my surprise when I log in today only to find IT UPDATED ITSELF! I hope to god that the recommendations here for fixing the JetPack caused problems without a complete reinstall work, because I put a LOT of time into customizing my theme and I don't want to have to take the chance that it's going to get screwed up when I try to re-install.
SMH. Completely worthless if you use a static front page. I may just ditch JetPack altogether and start using different plugins to cover the elements of it I liked. Google Analytics, here I come...
how can you you release version like 3.4 in the market without testing properly with theme and other crash AVADA
Agreed with other posts: the latest update to 3.4 does seem to break some websites, but not all. Deleting the plugin from the wp-content/plugins folder or simply renaming it to jetpack.deactivate (you'll need ftp or c-panel to do this) fixes the problem but of course you lose the jetpack plugins ... i'm sure the jetpack authors are onto this and will roll out a fix soon .. please
It was my faults that I was not using Avada with its real name in c-panel that conflicted with jetpack, superb support from authors :)
Very Usefull Plugin
Large wholes for Data security...Noone know what they do with the data and how they use it.

If i write a blog means my visitors like to be protect. Here in fact its not. In Europe such is illegal and can go up to prisso nas Blog owner.
Muy completo, pero no suelo usarlo ya, tiene cosas que mejorar, y consigo lo mismo con otros plugins.
This is bloat ware, WordPress is meant to be open source but they gutted core functionality for their own benefit.
from wordpress.org: "Everything you see here, from the documentation to the code itself, was created by and for the community. WordPress is an Open Source project, which means there are hundreds of people all over the world working on it."
More like they used the hard work of others to profit and then forced them to tie it in to there service which kills your site.
