I'm usually quite generous to hard working teams who wants to created great things. But I must be fair an admit that my experience with JP isn't that satisfying as it was so hype once i've try to install this plugin for the first time.
The reasons why i'm giving 3 stars is because, i find it too much resource demanding. It's Heavy and slowing down all mi sites. No matter how many modules i deactivate, jsut having it installed it is a huge loading page speed decrease. I'm currently keeping active 8 modules.
Now, i suppose JT team believe that once you install it, you shouldn't need any other additional pluging. Why ? Otherwise, a solution to make it less heavy ( not bloating your site ) would have been found in about 1 year.
Maybe taking in consideration the installation of each module remotely, separated might improve it...
Is indeed cool the idea the 1 plugin solution, but you can't pretend to cover all the needs of a user adding some great modules, between some other which are below the average, just show a big cake, where just few slices are the good one to eat. I hope this last analogy make sense in the end.
Then, To have a few modules which i really do love love to have, i must bloat my site, and slow it down till the point that a user leave my site ? I don't find it a big deal. No to mention that that google take loading page speed as PR factor.
I'm running a VPS, 6 VCores, on Debian, 8 Gigabites RAM, don't tell me is not enough. because once JP is uninstalled i gain amazing loading speed, and i said it all now.
Good luck for the future. I found 3 stars more than generous, for not minding such important matter and didn't found a solution for over a year.
Jetpack is a good plugin, however it is a bit heavy, and my web doesn´t support it correctly.

I couldn't post from wordpress to facebook using this jetpack. (Using version 3.6.1)
both still running wordpress 4.1.5
Would love to know why I couldn't update my post to facebook.
I couldn't activate it either.
I'm using Jetpack since a few months ago. I like the Features, they work properly. But the performance is really poor. Jetpack slows down everything and needs nearly 40% Ressources. Measured by P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler). So guys, please reduce queries and make it faster.
What is the main reason you would or wouldn't recommend Jetpack?
When I'm angry I feel the need to act on it, Jetpack seemed like a clever setup with its various modules in one plugin. But Jetpack just keeps managing to get me verry angry . Your new function short links WP.me is slowing my websites down I'm trying to increase the site speed off my wordpress woocommerce sites. It running really slow it's your new funtion WP.me + my woocommerce products don't index in google... resulting in 70 error:
"My Sitemap contains 70 urls which are blokt in google from your wp.me plugin + my sitemap is crashing on your wordpress? wp.me? links. + I dont like it when i install your jetpack plug WP.me short links are automatically install this plugin onto my website. ...
Jetpack could get some major feel good points by letting me use it without wp.me i dont need this for my woocommece website only for sharing on my social networks connection. Thank you Jetpack...
I don't want to use wp accounts but still want jetpack functions
I used Jetpack a long time an really like Its functionality But after the last update (3.5.3) its bugged and causes White Screen of Death. It´s a pain in the *** to fix as the screen can blank out everytime you click a button. After going through my addons I identified Jetpack as the culprit. Jetpack inactivated – no problems, activated again – white screen returns, inactivated – no problems. So until theres is at fix It will stay inactivated.
When checking for page speed the images in the Tiled Galleries are not optimized for mobile viewing and therefore delivered very large. That slows down the page.
Would like to love this plugin, but am experiencing several denied acess to admin dashboads - jetpack thinks the adminitrators are trying to do malicious things.
Publicize needs to make the social sharing buttons more visible by allowing them to be both above and/or below the posts/pages.
Something that's mostly Facebook's fault is that often the wrong image will be publicized on facebook. The og:image pulls any image on the page that it thinks is the biggest even if the image is totally inappropriate. There doesn't appear to be any solution other than to disable facebook from Publicize and putting post titles and links manually.
User interface for the various modules could be improved too, it's a bit confusing.
