Your WordPress, Streamlined.
Jetpack is almost perfect, i had to uninstall JetPack because there is no anti-spam plugin that works with Jetpack. Except for Akismet ($$$).
I am strongly disappointed, For WP sites, Jetpack is a all inclusive luxury villa without a front-door.
I like WordPress with powerful features
Truly an awesome tool.
Contact form displays the following error on the live page:
Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home2/psf/public_html/wp-includes/shortcodes.php on line 193
It is true that Jetpack has so many features, but for me, it increases my website loading times.
I have been using Jetpack stats for some time and appreciate having the free tools in Jetpack. I am rating this down today because the stats failed in my dashboard. They still work on the stats page. Anyone know why they work one place and not in the other?
After the latest WordPress (3.7) update my stats quit working. So I disconnected then tried to reconnect. Now all I get is:
Couldn't resolve host 'jetpack.wordpress.com'
Nothing on my site has changed. I have no clue as to why I can't connect.
On self hosted wordpress, It slows down admin panel. It needs improvements. Otherwise 5 stars.
The only drawback to Jetpack is it is a resource hog. I had to remove this plugin from all of my sites until the high resource usage has settled a bit. I have one site of full dedicated server, and have been told by hosting as well Godaddys plugin p3 profiler not to use this. Now honestly If anyone could trust anything godaddy ever said or done, then i'd follow it. But when the hosting company im with said that it pulled way too much of my site and we compared stats, it is true. 80% of the wordpress site was used by jetpack with minimal of the additions it comes with turned on.
I hope this one day gets better as jetpack is an awesome plugin, if you have some severe hosting or dedicated servers.
Much props to the creators as once again, i'm going to install this plugin and try a work around on resources.
Jetpack in on one hand great. It offers features that should not be basically part of the WordPress core. In that way we love the statistics, custom css, sharing, CDN, and so on.
On the other hand we strongly miss the finishing touch. I.e. Jetpack offers an image widget, but the image widget is not connected to the media library. I manage to get the url by myself, but don't understand the logic behind it. I also don't understand why activating, deactivating and configuration of modules is so user unfriendly. Connection with WordPress.org, and so on.
So please continue developing the plugin and the modules. If the finishing touch is there we would certainly consider paying for a premium version.
