My users can not comment from their account (blog account), the wordpress.com account should be optional.

one of the best plugin
By ,

Thank you for this plugin, this is one of the best plugin that i can find until this now

I have one question: can we use this feature "Email subscriptions for your blog's posts and your post's comments" only for particular article? If can... please give me your tips to do that

Thank you

Great, but bloated
By , for WP 4.0

Jetpack is fantastic, but it is quite bloated. A lot of the plugins are enabled by default, and they shouldn't be.

The TTL of Photon is a problem. Chaching indefinitely is not a good solution for many setups. In my specific situation I had to disable Photon on many sites due to watermarks being added by plugins after upload (making it easier for clients).

It's Great When You Use Most of What it Offers
By , for WP 4.0

We use and rely on a lot of the features Jetpack has such as Photon, Carousels, Contact forms, Comments, etc. While not the best thing to use if you only need a few modules, it's pretty good when you use most of the modules available.

Tons of Features, One Package
By , for WP 4.0

Having recently moved off of WordPress.com, Jetpack gives me every feature that I missed, and I really mean every feature.

There are a ton of features in this plugin, most of them are useful to me. Sure, some will say it's "bloated" with features, but for me I'd rather have one plugin with all the features I need than twenty plugins each with only one feature.

And yes, each individual feature can be turned off/on, so you don't have to use everything if you don't want to.

slow, too many scripts, but worth it all
By , for WP 4.0

we believe this plugins does so many good things that we can ignore some of its negatives like the speed and the number of scripts that are loaded and so on. It provides a lot of other wise complex and unsupported functionality esp image management, galleries, etc. in a much un intrusive manner

Loads of features
By , for WP 4.0

Easy to use with loads of features like Stats, Publicize, Social Sharing, Infinite Scroll and much more.

Pick and choose the modules you want to use
By , for WP 4.0

Jetpack just keeps getting better with new modules added regularly. Use whatever modules you want for your site.

Three of my favorites that save me time and effort are:

  • Markdown: write posts/pages using Markdown syntax
  • Custom CSS: easily add CSS to your theme
  • Monitor: notifies you when you site goes down, and when it comes up
