The plugin is blocking Google. Although I have search engines all on white list, I faced by testing my site with GG rich data tool and answer for all sites I was testing of my page "URL is not valid" that the plugin is is really blocking Google IP's 220.127.116.11;18.104.22.168;22.214.171.124;
which are all in blaclist on wpd_iqblock_logging.
Better you don't block the country US, if you don't want to be punished from search engines ;-)
We are in 2 countries, U.S. and Spain. Randomly we and site visitors from these countries will be blocked, but then the site will be accessible a minute later. Can't have this.
Also, you have to add all other countries manually to the list - there is not a "check all" and them remove what you want in the list.
Too many random blocks to rely on.
The idea behind it is great, but for some reason it did not work on my site. I blocked the front-end and back end on a few countries, not mine of course. The cumbersome process of selecting the countries has been already highlighted so I won't repeat other comments. Long story short, I logged-out and I was blocked out of the front end. I logged in again (the back-end worked btw..) and tested it with pingdom tools, to see if it worked in different countries. All the results were negative, access denied, where it was supposed to be accessible. I deactivated the plugin and everything is available again. My vote is based on my experience, if the plugin improved I would use it. Thanks for the hard work anyway.
Since the update last week it seems to be working somewhat, though it seems some countries still bleed through. As it sits right now I'm using it in combination with htaccess.
If you like you can try this tool "at your own risk" as all countries may not be blocked for you and I'm unsure how often this gets updated. ;)
