Messed up my website
By , for WP 4.2.3

Installed, activated and went through the settings. I wanted to post all my previous Instagrams, so had them using the Instagram title (or a default if not set), posted on the date I added it to Instagram, etc. Also got it to add them in the "image" post format.

Instead, it posted everything as standard posts with the title, excerpt and post date of my most previous post. That most recent post got converted - a genuine one that I'd written myself - to an image post format, luckily none of the rest of the content was modified.

I also use the Jetpack features that adds new posts to my social networks, which this plugin then preceded to do for every Instagram image, flooding my networks with these incorrectly generated posts.

Happy? Not at all, took me ages to undo the damage and numerous apologies for Twitter followers, etc, for flooding their feeds. Not impressed.

Does what it says! Couldn't be happier!

I'm pleased as punch with the way Instagrate to WordPress is working.

It did take some tweaking to get all my settings right, and it didn't play nicely with my first choice in caching plugin, but overall this does exactly what I hoped it would do.

I'm using a post filter to feed Instagram photos to another loop on my homepage (and exclude them from the main blog posts page). This may get cumbersome after a few hundred more Instagram posts, but since it's the one network I update daily, it's important for me to backup my photos and share them on my site.

I really appreciate having a copy in my media library if I ever want to use them for expanded blog posts as well.

Thanks so much for a great plugin!

After authorizing Instagram I can no longer log back into my account
By ,

After authorizing Instagram I can no longer log back into my account. It keeps telling me that the password field is empty after I enter my password.

If I go to the main site url > refresh > url/wp-admin > log in > I can log back into the site. The plugin still asks me to log in. "Please login securely to Instagram to authorise the plugin."

If I try to Log In and authorise the plugin I get the same error and start over again.

great way to make a daily-photo feature
By , for WP 3.5.1

I searched for a way to create a simple daily-photo page. Using instragrram and this plugin, it is super simple!

The photos are imported into my blog easily enough, and using these tools, I've created my own Daily Photo feature. I think it looks great.

Simple to install/customize

And works like a charm! There used to be some problem with instagram authentication in the past so I gave up on having automatic postings from instagram to wordpress. Tried it again today and it seems to be fixed! Yay!

Great!!

Exactly what I was looking for! Great job!

Absolutely reliable

Awesome Plugin! Works perfectly without any errors. I used it to have a copy of my instagram photos in my blog for 10 months now. There are a lot of plugins to embed Instagram photos in WordPress posts but what if Instagram is down? Then you better have a copy of your photos in your media library!

Very Effective

I installed the free limited version and tested it without issue. I needed a feature of the pro version, multiple Instagram user accounts posting to one blog, so I upgraded. I found a discount coupon on the author's website which saved me a few dollars.

The plugin works very well and I have had no issues so far. I am using Instagrate Pro v0.3.1 on WordPress 3.4.2.
