Image Cleanup will index unreferenced images. These can be leftovers from cropping and scaling images. Stop them cluttering your content folder!

My site had many unused resized images left over from different themes that I tried out in the past. Removing unused themes doesn't removed these images so you will end up with a lot of wasted space. This plugin removes them and keeps a clean and small upload folder. Thanks developer!
It did the job quickly and easily.
Very easy to use and gets the job done. Love the image folder move option that lets you test before deleting images.
Thanks - I'd resized images offline and uploaded them to the server, and this plugin did exactly what I needed it to with a large number of files.
If you have a modern theme that generates a lot of different images sizes you're probably going to need this plugin. I would have been stuck with all that extra baggage without it.
Love this plugin. Thanks, Opicron!!
I've been very careful over the last year or so to ensure that my images are all sized for web and under 300k each. Most of them, in fact, are running around 150-200k. Surprisingly, however, my wp-content directory keeps growing, seemingly exponentially. I was ready to basically nuke my entire install or just fork over another $10 / month just to get an extra 2gb of storage. Neither of these options were ideal, however, as that wouldn't fix the problem, it would just delay the inevitable.
Looking around for some help, I came across reviews for this plugin. I installed it, then backed up my entire site just in case. On the first run, I cleaned up over 900mb of unused / unreferenced images! After running the blog again for another week, and creating another post, I saved another ~20mb.
Though I did have an issue with memory settings, the developer was amazingly responsive and kept me in the loop for when a fix would be coming. Mind you, the biggest fix was saving me 900mb of space, but he was still working diligently to solve another minor problem I was having with memory issues when running the plugin the 2nd time.
So 13,000+ unnecessary images, 900mb saved space, and one happy plugin user later... I'm sold. Don't even think about it, just download it and run it.
The developer is extremely eager to help with special user cases while optimizing the plugin along the way.
I've tried similar plugins in the past but nothing comes close to how comprehensive this one's approach is. It does everything you could ask for and then some!
