HookPress turns your WordPress-internal hooks into webhooks. Possible uses include generating push notifications or extending WordPress with non-PHP.
I've tried & used this plugin before with no problems.
I was surprised to see the start rating review of 3 by only 1 person in at least 4 years!
People just refuse to come by and vote, but also I swear there were more votes than that before.
Anyhow, I didn't want to be one that just ignored the incorrect and unfair voting view of just one vote, which also was a vote with now text review to show why there was a 3 start review.
So here's 5 from me and in my personal use.
This plugin would be great, except that it's missing some key parameters to POST to the URL. Particularly: custom fields. If I can't POST custom field data, then this plugin isn't really much use to me.
Additionally, the publish_post and publish_page hook actions do not work. I used Requestb.in to test this with no results on either of those actions, which means that nothing will be triggered when a new post or page has been created. Other actions work just fine.
