I was using another plugin for password protecting my site, but it stopped working with this new version of WordPress. This one still works though! Great plugin :)!
Excellent to have on our sites not ready to launch but on live servers.
Simpler then requiring a full login. Wonderful for the clients.
Works really well, went for the premium one site licence to extend the features out.
... which is the way I like it. ;) Well done, thank you!
I'm always happy to find good plugins that are free, but I rarely use paid plugins. However, when I do fork out a little cash (only $20), I expect things to work, and for support to help when I need it. That's what impressed me with this developer. He went above and beyond in his support, and I'd recommend him to anyone. Thanks.
Works well, thank you
The installation worked seamlessly and our site is totally secure (I tested it)—the HideMySite plugin was exactly what we were looking for. It was especially great having a variety of login box designs to choose from. We selected one that is a perfect complement to our splash page design. We couldn't be more pleased!
I tried with the plugging installed by WP, I tried downloading and installing by my own the last version in his web. It still has the same error he speaks about. Each time I click in a new link the system ask me the password again.
It seemed interesting and I would have paid.
It works okay most of the time but sometimes I had a problem when used with other plugins.
The bigger problem is when you would like to use a premium version of hide my site plugin (few more features). For 3 uses you would have to pay 50 USD and if you have more sites 100 USD (!) for a year (!). This is absolutely ridiculous as you can buy really premium wordpress themes for 30-40 USD and use on unlimited websites for unlimited time.
This plugin is just a simple page no wordpress premium theme.
I will definitely not donate (free plugin) this developer for the above.
Donations only allow people like him to have a more time and create premium plugins for ridiculous money what he proved already.
It worked really fine.
I think the problems started after I installed Polylang plugin.
