Have used this plugin many times over the years...

Always works just as advertised!

No longer works with GF 1.9

Does what it says!
By , for WP 4.2.3

Works with 4.2.4 - the checkbox and dropdown was there, a GF front-end submission creates a new post type in the CPT I defined. Exactly what I needed, thank you!!

Great plugin!

Allowing users to post specific post-types is a breath with this plugin. Great!

Does not work now.

Does not work with current version of wordpress and gravity forms.

5 stars thanks to the help in the forum!

love it. With this fix I got it to do what i need (allow checkboxes for custom taxonomy): https://wordpress.org/support/topic/bug-checkboxes-with-custom-taxonomy-as-source

Thank you to the plugin author and the great wordpress community!

Works Perfectly with Genesis Childtheme

Simple and simply works. Linking a GF custom field to a cpt custom taxonomy is an excellent feature. I highly recommend this plugin.

plugin broken, author seemingly doesn't care
By , for WP 4.1.1

If I could give zero stars I would.

The plugin is a fail and has been such for at least a year.

Author cannot be bothered and you actually don't need a plugin at all to generate a custom post type entry from the frontend by using existing hooks that come with Gravity Forms.

The only thing that speaks for the author is that the compatibility notice clearly states: Compatible up to: 3.3.2 (sometime in the first half of 2012). As that was 3 years ago and both WP and GF have evolved, it's best to ignore this plugin.

Rocket surgery not required
By , for WP 4.1

Without this plugin, creating a post in a custom post type with some specific meta values would require some filter hook spelunking through Gravity Forms. With this plugin, you can configure all of that from the form editor. Simplicity, and job is done.

Just works
