Perfect
By , for WP 4.2.4

I have been using it for some time now and I like it very well.
I can create galleries with thumbnails and slideshows. Exactly what I need for my professional website to showcase my company..

The video's didn't scale responsivly so there can be some improvement.

Free and useful plugin

Useful plugin for creating different types of galleries on your website. The free version has plenty of options available and allows you to use most of its features. Interface is not the most user friendly one, but once you figure it out it works fine. And it has a support forum on the website in case you need help.

Very useful
By , for WP 4.2.3

Love the image upload features. I like the gallery options, love the ability to create a gallery based on a custom filer. There does not seem to be support for viewing an image in a lightbox. Lightbox plugins seem to work fine with the WP Media library. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Better than most gallery plugins I've found.

Just what I was looking for
By , for WP 4.2.2

I was checking out galleries as we required a very specific set of functionality. Lots of plugins advertised that they had the functionality we required, but none really hit the nail on the head. Whether due to conflicts with other plugins, usability, extreme limitation in the free version so not able to test if premium option would work, etc...

I had actively been avoiding this plugin as for some reason it just did not appeal to me. Eventually out of sheer desperation I thought just give the chap a go. And to my surprise it offered all the functionality we needed without even requiring add-ons or premium upgrades. The usability is also quite great and simple to use and learn.

One draw back is the flash usage on the front-end, which has crashed once in my browser, but for the most part it's been a pleasure to work with thus far.

Keep up the good work!

Works well, bit of a learning curve

Overall, a very nice plugin, however I found the setup a bit challenging, but then again I am not one fr reading directions. Plays nice with all of my plugins, and loads quickly

Great plugin

I love this plugin. Lot's of possibilities. After a bit of trial and error, I'm able to make beautifull galleries with this plugin. Four stars because it is not really intuïtive (I needed some time to figure out how to import files, add them to an album and create a gallery) and there seems to be no way to delete images from albums.

Realslider Module- Still scope for optmization
By , for WP 3.8.3

In realsider module, I noticed that the carousel image and the thumbnail image are using different images for rendering same image of different sizes. So for every single image we upload, the plugin is creating an additional thumbnail image, which can be avoided by reusing and re-sizing the main slider image. thus reducing http requests.

It Works

Nice gallery plugin.. would love to see more..

This is a really nice gallery addon. While it's not a full on gallery plugin, I love the fact that I'm getting a great image showing up in my posts in a size I like.

Other gallery plugins for me, create 3 sizes, including wordpress's own media. While this has it's place, when you want to show a large image without opening a popup window, it's nearly impossible to do.

What I'd really love to see tho in this plugin is an ability to filter by category or tags on the images in the edit post or page area. Like the wordpress media manager, once you have a substantial amount of images it just increases the load time. Imagine opening a new post and having the same thing happening with gmedia. It would be really great to be able to filter them to the category or tag you created for the images so your only loading those images in the category or tag. For that reason alone I don't understand why category or tags are even needed.

Please note tho, I am not using this as a gallery, I use this to post images in articles only, so for me, I'd just like to see that ability added.

I love this plugin tho, it creates a nice, crisp image, it's so easy to setup, and I would even go to the pro version if I knew I could filter those images on the post or page type edit page if this gallery addon did that.

That is the reason for 4 stars, if you want me to change my rating, please add that feature. :)
