You can't fully depend on this plugin to prevent or remove all malware. I scan every day and find new malware so this plugin obviously doesn't find/remove all of the backdoors.
I found this plugin after testing others. I had been hacked over about ten wordpress sites and although I had cleaned up the files and used backup files, once I put the sites back online the exploit came back.
A lot of the plugins want you to signup to a site and only after that you find out they either don't have all the features till you buy the pro version or they just don't work, often because they are not updated enough.
This plugin found the remaining exploits on my sites and updates very often. Auto scans and updates are available for a small donation so this allows you to find out if the plugin is worth it to you. Try it and see.
In an ideal world everything would be free and so would have got 5 stars.
Good and useful.
It detected malware efficiently and helped clean it. Good plugin
I really like the plugin, but I get "Uncaught ReferenceError: dirs is not defined" console error when I try to run a scan. Can you look into it?
è uno dei pochi anti malware che oltre alla scansione fixa anche i problemi, gli altri poi ti chiedono soldi
io mi sto trovando benisismo
I've tried a few anti malware plugins and this one is the best so far.
Not sure what's going on but the scan skipped a about a third of the files and the Brute-force Protection Not Installed Checking for session compatability ... Wait... wheel is steady spinning
I recommend it as a alternative to Wordfence if your server restricts memory usage.
One of my website was infected with a trojan (backdor). This plug-in has been able to detect some corrupt files (spam etc). However, it never had detected the trojan itself.
Anyway, this plug-in is a really good start and updates will improve it =)
Update: ability to send e-mail once a malware has been detected.
