One Google Maps plugin to rule them all. Google Maps Builder is intuitive, sleek, powerful and easy to use. Forget the rest, use the best.
The exact flexibility I need and fairly easy to instruct end users on, too.
Map is all grey in admin. When embedding on site it pins down Los Angeles even though set to correct address.
[ Edit: Sorry, I really feel bad after hitting the one star but I really gave it a shot. I've already installed another plugin on a bunch of sites that are doing the job ok. As you said this is probably not a normal issue. I know you are hard workers and would probably solved it easily in the Support forum, but my WP-rage took the upper hand. Now I hit the five star instead and I know thats not very objective either, but hey, living the life is a complicated thing. ]
All the best,
Great job! Thank you so much!
Nice plugin, simple and effective, you can make multiple markers and maps easily, and customize them. Lacks some documentation for the people, like me that doesn't know very much about mapping.
"Marker Description" admits html tags, you can customize the content of the popups adding images, stiles and links to it.
"Marker Label Data" admits putting an img tag to link to a picture or an icon in order to make a personalized marker icon.
I don't know what is "Marker Data" for.
Im just looking forward to add a thumbnail image and a short text with a link and that would be all I need :)
Full customizable, great choice of marker, covers all your needs for a location map.
Thanks for creating such a great plugin that is easy to use without adding to my site. I was wondering if there was any way to make the markers smaller since I am trying to add about 50 in a 1/2 mile radius?? Great job though.
Excellent plugin. I would like a manual for the finer points that still may escape me. But I do like the simplicity of the plugin.
This plugin allows exception control over the display of google maps on a website and makes adding points of interest a breeze. i am so happy to have come across it. suits my needs ideally.
I advise a student charity group that needs a rock-solid map development tool with the potential to scale up to displaying many, many markers. This looks like exactly what we'll need by the time fall semester starts back up. It's not perfect for us just yet — the ability to export maps would be nice, and the ability to remove existing place descriptions (and replace it with our own information) is critical for the project's purpose — but it looks like both of those are planned updates. Hooray!
This is an amazingly good release for so early in its lifespan, and I can't wait to see the updates as they come in. I'm excited about the possibility that my group of students next year will be able to hit the ground running with a plugin that does everything we need.
