Let's talk about Maps done Easy
By , for WP 4.3.1

I have the pro version. It's freaking amazing. That's all you need to know. I'm kidding.

First, you can drag and drop a marker on a Google Map. How fun. You add your content to the marker and call it a day. The plugin does the rest. This is an awesome plugin and I recommend it to everyone.

Amazing plugin - looking forward to seeing what's next

This plugin has blown my mind.

The availability of options and flexility are amazing.

I purchased a copy of the Pro version for a client site and sat down at 9pm last night to have a quick 30 minute look at it before going to bed.

The next thing I knew it was 2am and I had a site online with a mashup map pulling location data from photographs stored in a custom post type. Visitors to the site can click on a map, view all the photo locations, zoom in and click on map markers to see an info-box showing the featured photograph and the associated summary.

From a client perspective adding location data to posts and custom post types is a breeze. Initially I created my own longitude and latitude custom fields in WP-Types and mapped them to the longitude and lattidue in the Maps Builder mashup settings. That worked great.

But then I realised that I didn't need to do this at all because the Maps Builder Pro settings have an option to include a Maps Builder metabox on posts, pages, custom post types etc. You can enter the longitude, latitude and address directly. This is fantastic for sites that don't need custom post types but want to associate map / location data with pages and posts.

The level of care and detail that have gone into creating this plugin is amazing and I'm looking forward to additional features and functionality. I've already put in a couple of feature requests.

Thanks Matt & Devin!

Nice grey map + support
By , for WP 4.2.4

I needed this plugin for a nice greyscale map for this website: [Link redacted]

Work really well.
I'm using the Free version, but still got great support about how to give the map the right height & width.
Thanks again Devin!

custom map

Great plugin, however I wonder that, can I use my own map image and place markers on it?

Works fine

Thanks, pluign works well, easy configured and allow add html + images to pins ☺

Really impressive and promising

Slick interface, ability to define multiple maps, markers, set custom icons. One thing I'm missing (but to be fair it's missing in almost all other plugins) is the ability to auto open marker descriptions.

Just what I was looking for.

The exact flexibility I need and fairly easy to instruct end users on, too.

Not working at all
By , for WP 4.1

Map is all grey in admin. When embedding on site it pins down Los Angeles even though set to correct address.

[ Edit: Sorry, I really feel bad after hitting the one star but I really gave it a shot. I've already installed another plugin on a bunch of sites that are doing the job ok. As you said this is probably not a normal issue. I know you are hard workers and would probably solved it easily in the Support forum, but my WP-rage took the upper hand. Now I hit the five star instead and I know thats not very objective either, but hey, living the life is a complicated thing. ]

All the best,

Great job! Thank you so much!

Nice and clean

Nice plugin, simple and effective, you can make multiple markers and maps easily, and customize them. Lacks some documentation for the people, like me that doesn't know very much about mapping.
For instance:

"Marker Description" admits html tags, you can customize the content of the popups adding images, stiles and links to it.
"Marker Label Data" admits putting an img tag to link to a picture or an icon in order to make a personalized marker icon.
I don't know what is "Marker Data" for.
