Welcome to Google Language Translator! This plugin allows you to insert the Google Language Translator tool anywhere on your website using shortcode.
I was hopeful about this plugin.... it translate only parts of my text.
6 months ago, I would have given this plugin 4 or 5 stars. No issues have been fixed in at least 7 months, causing plugin users to have have to fix them on their own and modify the plugin code. As of right now, 0 of 26 support threads have been resolved in the last 2 months. The author needs to get in the habit of using WP_DEBUG. As users, we shouldn't have to be catching easy errors.
Unfortunately with the lack of support and ongoing plugin errors, I have to lower my rating to 2.
I'll be happy to revise this rating and review once fixes have been made to the plugin, and regular support resumes.
The plugin does a good job in some areas, but it does have some quirks. I really do want to love this plugin, so please fix the issues. :)
i love it <3
Thanks very good if you could add a function we can easily arrange where to put translate , Example up the right corner Thanks....
There is one problem. If you have a page in, for example, English and select Spanish from the drop-down it will translate that page from English to Spanish - and also translate all other pages into Spanish including your ADMIN pages.
If you happen to have any other page already written in Spanish manually, Google translator still will attempt to translate that Spanish page into Spanish again and it will make a mess of it.
There seems to be no way to say "turn off Google Translator" for any selected page. Once you select a language every page will be translated and stays stuck in that language until the user selects another.
So you cannot use this if you already have manually translated pages into another language.
This plugin has just enough settings and options to make it worthwhile and easy to use. Can easily produce a simple or complex widget layout quickly and it fits with most theme designs well. Great job!
The best translation plugin I ever seen. Only I wish for the next update, if it's possible a link to return the website to original language. Thanks for all :-)
Works great - looks great - great support.
This great Plugin
To get the floating menu working, you have to select "all languages" but then specify which flags to display. That means you've got languages enabled (under "all" languages) but you can't select them because you haven't got the flag to display.
Once I'd got my head round this quirk, I found this a great plugin. Does what it says on the tin, the yellow menu fits perfectly with my theme, so a big thumbs up all round!
