Dan is an amazing guy. He builds a very very useful Plugin. Everybody in our company loves to login with google on all our different websites. It's so easy to handle all the access rights for users from different departments (we are using the Enterprise Version). Also his support is amazing.
I have had no problems with this plugin and having this plugin is like having 2 factor authentication! I love it!
Dan's Google Apps Login plugin has been absolutely crucial in allowing me to set up a blog for a non-profit society with members who are not technologically-inclined. This plugin allowed me to set up Google Apps and a WordPress blog for them and only require them to remember one login. Of all the plugins and the theme I purchased for them, this one has been by far the most useful and most worth the money.
Dan was extremely fast to provide support when needed and quickly resolved my issue (which was not related to the function of the actual plugin—I've never had a problem there). Dan has provided a thoughtful and appropriate response to every review I've read on here, which speaks volumes about the quality of customer service he is willing to offer. I've been in a position where I paid less for something and got little or no customer service, and I promise you that in that moment—where I just needed it to work—I would have gladly gone back in time and paid double or triple the price of the better product.
I use this with Google Drive Embedder and am so happy. Recently I had a reason to ask for support and Dan was awesome -- fast response, courteous, and helpful. Every plugin + author should be this way!
Love this plugin. Works amazingly.
This, and other plugins from this developer works perfectly. Integrates with Google Apps beautifully. There is a lot of detailed instructions, but for a novice like me that doesn't always understand everything the first time around, the support was excellent. I highly recommend this plugin if you use Google Apps — it's just one less password to have to remember!
I like it, but Super Socia Plugin does the same thing with way more features including the ones you have to pay for with this plugin. With Super Social I get Google, Facebook, Twitter, and many more. Plus, the features with this plugin that I have to pay for...like new user register, comes with Super Social Free. This pricing is ridiculous for a simple plugin like this.
1-10 Google Apps users – $29.00
11-50 Google Apps users – $49.00
51-100 Google Apps users – $99.00
101-300 Google Apps users – $199.00
301-500 Google Apps users – $349.00
500+ Google Apps users – $499.00
The plugin does what proclaims .. and it does in a brilliant way!
It's not just about the fact that it works. The logic behind, how it's coded, how it appears in administration (no extra bothering icons, no unnecessary menus), everything is as it should be. It's simple, does exactly what you can expect.
What else? Just a day after the purchase (I use the paid version) I've got nicely written email full of attention. I felt care and I achieved exactly what I wanted.
This one (plugin) is how all should be.
My thanks go to the WP-Glogin team. Thank you.
Simplifies login and user administration when everyone in the company uses google accounts anyways
Just downloaded it, like most plugins I assumed I was wasting my time.
But five minutes later, with the help of wp-glogin.com and the excellent documentation on using the google developers console to obtain the correct auth keys for integration ....
It works great. My admin login uses my gmail auth instead of having to remember another password.
Now, I have a lot of experience with auth and google. I write php (cake) and python (pyramid). But I did not look forward to writing this stuff in a wp plugin. I don't have to. It's done, and really well done.
I won't be using the premium features, which is the real meat of the plugin. For a small fee, I could have a team of reporters and editors using their gmail credentials and their google drive to manage content.
But I don't have reporters, just a small static website. I don't let people leave comments. But now that I've seen this, it's got me thinking. It's really cool.
