After numerous attempts to configure this plugin by authenticating with the google UA code, deactivated the plugin. It simply does not work. The free version is clearly there to prompt you to spend $90 for the upgrade that does work.
I've uninstalled it because it has caused errors in a multi-site, which then works fine. They add a lot of unnecessary stuff to the plugin and made it useless(for multisite at least).

Don't work since weeks
Every went wrong since Yoast decided to create a dashboard to see the data within the WP admin panel.
After that I have experimented performance issues within the WP admin panel, then white screen of death, and today my server went down (PHP crash). I am paying more than 100 US$/month of hosting at websynthesis. Yoast's plugin is the responsible of all my issues.
How can I keep live a plugin that does not let me work on my WP site?
I have been waiting for weeks now for a fix. It seems that the dev team is not able to find one, or not willing to.
End of the story.
I dont know why I clicked on that update plugin and since then all went wrong! my website started acting weird, customers couldnt add products to the card, my homepage started showing a white blank page, and i started getting visits from pricmeg.com and analyitics stopped working. i had to unistall its a shame! Help!
I've been using this plugin for years and it has been working like a charm.
Since the latest updates I've also experienced the "Failed to fetch the new data from Google Analytics. Please reauthenticate on the settings page!" and there seems to be no end of this loop.
Leaving Yoast, heading for something else. There has got to be something better than this, out there. Tips anyone?
Endlessly asking me to reauthenticate.
Every day, it asks. I re-authenticate, then it asks again.
Is this supposed to be a useful plugin? I'll never know.
After installing the plugin and setting the Google Analytics as directed, no dashboard is available... hence no reports or other data will be displayed.
As a side note... some other sites I manage completely failed to start once this plugin was updated requiring manual removal from the plugin folder.
Recommend not install this plugin and if you have a previous version running, do not update.
Everyday it seems that I have to " reauthenticate " so I came here to see if I was the only one that this is happening to and low and behold, I'm not!
They recommend that you manually type it in but if you do that then you lose access to the dashboard.
Sorry, but they get a L for this one!
