The Team at GetSocial provided me with fast, efficient, and outstanding service within hours of my request. Honestly, they made my day. I love the plugin and I recommend Get Social to anyone else looking for excellence.
Yeah, plugin takes me to admin panel on their site. That is not a problem, but can't install any apps, can't save any changes made ON THEIR SITE.
Trying to install native social sharing app, save & activate button does absoultely nothing. Of course, if the save & activate button does absolutely nothing, then it won't show any changes in plugin on the server.
Don't download this.
I asked for a popup they give me a popup, I ask to share they let me share, if I have a problem they answer and if I still have a problem, they just resolv it for me... is it smething premium?? NO! IT'S FOR FREE.
I made my living of 30 years in computer application design. Who is the amateur that designed your application and didn't know enough users may change their social mediums' passwords?!?!?!?
It's not the users' jobs to beta test your application!
If there was a Zero star above I would have clicked on it!

Great plugin, well designed.
Works perfectly for what I need. Temped by the pro features too.
I tried several plugins, but this is the best. It is easy to activitate. (Only activate plugin). Than on all the blogs only are the buttons floating on the left. The text of the post is nice copied in the facebook and twitter message, Simple.
At first i was very fond of getsocial. The features are exactly what I needed, and it seemed to position itself better in the expected places than other hover bars. But after using it a few weeks I found heaps of problems.
Today and yesterday I spent about 4 hours screening my code to solve problems that in the end turned out to be created by getsocial. Since the plugin also creates numerous W3C validation errors, trouble shooting is quite complicated.
I appreciate developers who sacrifice their time to develop plugins. Buggy plugins, however, are also a sacrifice on the side of the user. Uncounted hours are wasted by fixing broken sites.
That is especially true when the developer never even bothers to answer any support thread. This plugin's support forum hasn't seen the developer show up for 6 months.
Initially a very nice plugins, but the problems should be fixed, and peeking into the support forum every 2 months wouldn't be too bad either.
Quality plugin, but I'd like to see it slightly less of a burden on page load. Pretty much, all social media share plugins that float on either side seem to slow page loads.
All of the sharing works well; the shares don't open new tabs/windows, and you can add an e-mail button if you follow the instructions.
Looking into ways to cut down on load times. Other than that, works fine on WP 3.5.1 and you don't have to be a genius to add the code and css as explained on the plugin page.
And it beats out Digg Digg because this appears on your homepage (if you want it to), and the e-mail option actually works.
