An easy-to-use image script for adding things such as thumbnail, slider, gallery, and feature images.
Cool! I've custom coded this numerous times. Good to know I can just grab this plugin in future instead :)
My all time favorite Plugin, recommended to all those who like easiness and flexibality.
i have a small problem, how can i centeralized the gallery on home page?
i am showing the slider at home page only, but it is left aligh by default.
I use "get the image" in all my sites. Makes grabbing images so much easier. For instance, no need to explain to a customer that they need to set a featured image if they want a thumbnail in their list of latest posts.
I also use it to display thumbs in the backend. Wooslider for instance displays no thumbs of your slides in the admin area if you don't set a featured image yourself for each slide. Which would be double work and thus needs to be avoided. With the "get the image" plugin and a little tweaking of the Slider plugin this is easily solved.
The best thing about any plugin by Justin Tadlock is that they come with the option to get support for it. Support is paid, it costs $29 per year which gives you access to the ThemeHybrid forums. Ask any question that is related to the plugin or to the Theme Hybid themes and it gets answered quickly, each and every time. If you make WordPress sites for a living this is easily the best money you can spend on support.
When you're developing or modifying a theme it's difficult to extract the right image and modify it on the fly. This plugin makes the job a bliss: several configuration options make it super easy to get the right image at the right size when you need it.
This plugin has been a long time favorite in the WordPress.com VIP Shared Plugins repo. Thanks for the time and effort you've invested into making such a useful plugin.
Thanks for this plugin. My site depends on it.
This should be included in the wordpress core - a sensible and efficient way to use featured images
Thanks for this very useful plugin :)
