Easiest way to harness Genesis Hooks
By , for WP 4.3

I have some trouble getting things exactly where I want them, but using this plugin I can almost always get it the way I need it very quickly.

As advertised
By ,

It makes it simple to add hooks to Genesis. Runs fine on my site.

Makes Genesis more customizable.
By , for WP 4.1.1

I've barely used the capabilities of this plugin but when I have it's been very handy. It's good to know it's there for when a client asks for a custom item placement.

Thanks again!
By , for WP 4.0.1

great plugin! helps me make simple changes easily!

Powerful yet simple plugin for Genesis
By , for WP 4.0

This plugin is the simplest way to add code to pretty much any hook you would ever want to access. It was a great way to learn about how hooks work and continues to be a solid, easy way to do crazy things with Genesis sites. This is one of the first plugins I install on every Genesis site.

it's not working for me
By , for WP 4.0

it's not working for me, i have use WordPress 4.0 @ Genesis 2.1.0 and i got msg as below,
Sorry, you cannot run Simple Hooks without WordPress 3.9.2 and Genesis 2.1.0, or greater.

This makes working with hooks so easy
By ,

I just started using this plugin on a site, and I'm, well, hooked. Until I learn more about working with hooks, this makes it pretty easy-peasy.

This really is a 'simple' way to get powerful functionality
By , for WP 3.7.1

Even if you know how to code this makes things easy. And if you're not comfortable coding then this unlocks some really powerful functionality that you will find greatly expands what you can do with your site.

Favicon unhook is not working
By , for WP 3.6

The plugin's favicon Unhook feature is not working with the latest version of the plugin. This may be due to the genesis upgraded version might have new hook names such as genesis_entry_meta instead of genesis_meta. So the genesis simple hooks plugin using the old hook names probably doesn't work.

I think the plugin's author will have to upgrade the plugin for this.

Perfect for the user just getting into hooks
By , for WP 3.6

I know plenty of users that want to understand and use hooks, but can't wrap their brains around it. This plugin, for Genesis users, helps guides them in a more coherent direction.
