Not good enough for Mobile
By ,

I've tried this several times. Recently with executive Pro child theme. The thing looks good until I load the page on my iPad Mini. Landscape works half the time and portrait never. Settings dont seem to have exact control on smaller screens. Too bad because on most screens it works fine. Ive moved on to a paid solution that is no headaches.

Like that I can choose to feature posts or pages, very cool!

Excellent slider!

Genesis itself is a great platform. I'm using the Executive Pro theme and I'm using this plugin for my homepage slider. (You can see mine slider at 3DForged.com.)

I did have a little trouble sorting the posts in the order I wanted them to show up, but ultimately I solved the problem by using the 'sort by date' option.

Overall, excellent plugin and I was able to edit it to fit the style of my site!

Great, Simple, and perfectly responsive

A must for my Genesis sites.
I wish there where a few more features to choose from, but I do love the simplicity of this plugin so maybe it's fine just the way it is ;-)

Still works like a charm

This still works great for Genesis users. It's simple and easy to use.

The content limit doesn't work!

The most crucial functionality is broken, making this slider plugin pretty annoying to work with...

Even though you set a character limit the plugin ignores this and shows either to little or to much text.

This is not acceptable.

Excellent free responsive slider solution for Genesis.

simple, stable & easy to use

Pulls f.e. subpage-content (with excerpt, title or limited content) or post of one featured category on frontpage. Also nice as a simple narrow Text-Ticker for news.

Not really responsive

While it looks good there are elements in it that isn't designed to work on smaller screen such as phones. This makes it hard to use if you want the slider to have a functional role on your site.
