Add custom headers to each page/post/custom post type. Header options include: featured image, custom image, slideshows, HTML, scripts, and more.
I wanted different custom images on pages.
"Use this code," they said.
"Use hooks," they said.
"Put this code in your functions.php," they said.
"Use custom fields," they said.
After 2 weeks of trying everything, someone suggested this plugin. So simple I can't believe it.
Thank you for saving my sanity.
Just one thing...
In the admin the custom header (very wide) stretched across the entire page. Not a deal-breaker, just a bit awkward and I'd like my client to have easy-to-manage admin. Is there anything I can do to fix that?
Thank you. :)
Great productivity tool. Thank you!
Saved me lots of time mucking around with hooks. Great plugin!
Easy to use. Works as advertised. Thank you!
Saved me hours!
But you must add this to the custom CSS, without it images are not responsive in ie or firefox.
Easy to use with lots of options - upon activation, I thought, hmmmm, why would anyone not want to use this :)
I was surprised about how many added features this plug-in offered ( positioning, slideshow, custom content etc) great plug-in for the Genesis framework
I'm constantly going through code snippets and tweaking them just a bit from site to site to get the headers just the way i want.
This was simple to use. A little additional css for super customization.
Im just missing a couple of features that would make it perfect:
- Allowing to set a fixed image size (forcing the user to crop)
- Option to have headers for categories too
I'm picky about the plugins I use on my Genesis sites and this plugin not only worked flawlessly but was dead simple to use. What a great time saver, thank you. Themes & versions I used Genesis Custom Headers on:
Genesis Framework v2.1.2
Education Pro v3.0.0
Outreach Pro v3.1
