Support not good
By , for WP 3.5.2

Can't get an answer after a week of waiting, complaining here seems to be the only hope.
Gallery displays thumbs on the page perfect in Chrome, Firefox and Safari. But, in IE8 the thumbs are crammed in a single row. I have the row setting at 0 but IE8 puts them all in the first row, if I change to say 2, IE8 displays 2 per row but they are still the same width as they were when they were a single row and look stupid. Great Plugin, Easy to Deploy, Easy to Train Usage
By , for WP 3.5.1

This plugin is exactly the simple deployment I was looking for. It easily integrates within custom themes. I am most impressed with the ease of use from the end users side of things. I will not need to spend a lot of extra time training my clients to properly utilize the plugin.

Works, but details are off
By , for WP 3.5.1

Unfortunately the plugin's results are rather unprofessional looking. Details that need to be tightened:

Gallery Page
1. The photos aren't centered within their respective containing boxes (white bg with gray outline). Just a little css would fix this.
2. "Number of images in the row" setting-- why not allow for the row to go the full width of its container?
3. Why isn't there padding between the gallery and the #content div?
.gallery_box_single {margin: 10px;}--hello?

Lightbox display:
4. The box for label (e.g., "Image 1 / 4") is wider than the photo.

Edit Gallery (admin page, post.php)
5. Why include the Tiny MCE editor for page--esp. since you can include the gallery on a page with a shortcode)? At very least place it lower down and get rid of media upload button--confusing for people (e.g., clients). Please look here.

It would be easy enough to fix these, but you'd have to do it each time the plugin was updated.

Not right

Could not get more than 1 gallery on a page.
It also trashed my custom vertical menu and navigation settings.

Simple, Easy & Quick
By , for WP 3.5.1

This gallery did exactly what it said it would. Simple, easy & quick. Exactly what I was looking for.

My one minor complaint is that it uses its own theme template files that are automatically placed within your current theme's directory. The templates have the get_sidebar() function built into them but depending on the theme you are using the sidebar may be styled/configured/structured differently and these default gallery template files that come with the plug-in will destroy that specific style/configuration/structure.

The fix is as simple as removing the get_sidebar() function from both template files. However, I am against the notion that a person should have to go into PHP code to make this kind of change with a plug-in.

So yes, 4 stars easily. Great plug-in. Don't let my one minor issue sway you from not using the plug-in; just be aware of it and know it exists!

Simple, straight forward - and working
By , for WP 3.4

This plugin has a very reliable uploader, a straight-forward simple interface, and it just does what it advertises. I had a few minor tweaks to do and received prompt and helpful support. What is missing is the myriad of options some other image gallery plugins are offering, yet I prefer simplicity over complexity, in particular when my needs are addressed. Overall I am very happy with the plugin.

Nice and simple!
By , for WP 3.5.1

I was looking for a simple gallery or portfolio plugin to display 4 seperate albums of pictures showing examples of a clients work. I tried several other plugins but all of them seemed way to overcomplicated to try and get them into 4 distinct albums.
This plugin was so very simple to do exactly what I wanted.
I did find that the widgets sidebar was being displayed under the pictures instead of being on the right as it should be, but as I didn't really want the sidebar on the gallery pages, I just removed <?php get_sidebar(); ?> from gallery-template.php and gallery-single-template.php and it was perfect!
