We love Formilla, as it helps us give our client instant help. I'd like to see the monthly-by-month cost to be more competitive, particularly being a micro business. I think you'll get a much larger following. Good work.
As a savvy entrepreneur doing a business start-up, I needed a plugin that was reliable, easy to use, and extremely cost effective. Formilla has blown me away on all 3 points. While most chat apps I researched were costing $15 a month, Formilla undercuts all of them with offering their service for only $8 per month on the yearly plan. Truly mind-boggling, but don't let the low cost fool you!! It's packed to the brim with amazing features, and here are several of my favorites:
- Ability to request chat for any visitor (you can do this manually or set it to automatically request at a set interval) Take initiative with helping them navigate their way around the website or answer FAQ's instantly and you will totally wow them. You can also see if they're a return customer or first time on the website and adjust accordingly - for return users I don't always initiate the chat first as they've been there before.
- Besides the desktop browser interface it has a flawless and 100% consistent INSTANT iPhone/iPad notifications when on the go. No need to remember to login every day either, as it stays logged in for you.
- If you decide to set offline hours, you can set the "Chat with us" button on the website to say "Leave us a message" so it emails you instead. This will keep your customers from attempting to chat and getting frustrated at the lack of response and unprofessionalism. If for some reason you are away during online hours you can have a message pop up as well for them to leave a message in the chat box instead and it will email you.
- Chat archive history stores everything in case you need to go back and look something up or monitor how well your agents are relating to customers.
- Customer status shows if they've gone "Idle" so you know if they've left or are still there. Also shows if they are typing something or not.
- You can require customers to insert their email address before chatting with you, so you can later add those onto your mailing list.
And I could go on and on! The world is getting more and more modern and you gotta keep up. The overall morale of my customers is higher now that I am offering customer service via chat as many of the younger generation prefer that over making a phone call. I have been able to provide better and faster resolutions and my customers are thrilled. To say the least, Formilla has a customer for life and gets two BIG thumbs up from me. Cheers, guys!

This plugin is very easy to setup and work with.
Within a few minutes you can have it up and running.
I ran into some trouble (generated by a theme I used) and the support pinpointed my problem and helped me solve it. On a Saturday. I mean, c'mon, it doesn't get any better than that!
I had zero problems with it since then, its an awesome plugin that I really recommend, both for experienced developers or not so savvy persons.
You won't find any better than this!
Out of several chat plugins I've tried, Formilla is by far the most responsive, easiest to setup and use and reliable.
With others, there always seem to be a conflict of some kind, constant 'bugs' popping up, etc. IMO, most of them are not ready for prime-time, let alone the 'paid' / 'premium' realm.
To the few who complain that the advanced features aren't free... You need a reality check. I doubt that any of you that have any skills or talent can or do work for free.

Not only am I completely impressed with this product and it's functionality, even if you only use the free version, I am blown away by the product support.
I don't know that I have ever had this level of dedicated support from a plug-in developer.
I had a specific way I wanted the chat button to show on my website and they actually helped me make it happen - hands on!
This plug-in does everything you would need a plug in to do, is reliable, and trouble-free.
I upgraded to the paid version, which is well worth it for the additional features!
I would support any plug-in this company creates! They have a high level of integrity and create a quality product!

This plugin is easy to install, installs very quickly, and has a simple to use interface on the user-side and the admin-side. The entire look of the chat is customizable. And the customer support is fantastic. I love this product / service, and would highly recommend to anyone. The price is great too.
