Forces users to enter something strong when updating their passwords.
This level of security for passwords should be in the WordPress core.
Well done mate.
This is a great approach to tackling a key weak point in WordPress security: users selecting weak passwords. This should be built-in to WordPress.
For this As of WordPress 3.7, the password strength meter is based on the Dropbox "zxcvbn" script.
I found this script impossible to guess a strong password correctly. Really defeats the purpose of password security when you have to write it down and post it on the monitor to be efficent. A shorter password I could remember.
Maybe I'm missing something?
I go to great effort to come up with a password more complex than I've ever created before (ended up having roboform generate it for me, a first, despite having over 500 logins).
And then there's the checkbox: Mail this password to user...
Oh, really?! Well, I guess it forces me to change the password when I log in. hmmm, no.
So what use is this super complex password system that is bound to frustrate the average user when it can be emailed...in the clear...over the internets?
