For those will an SSL certificate, this plugin forces an HTTPS connection for security purposes.
Sent my WordPress into a redirect loop, had to delete manually, and now my site layout is screwed up as well.
This is sneaky!
I've had success with this plugin in the past, but upon a recent install on a WP 4.0 installation, this plugin wasn't allowing http://www.mysite.com to redirect to https://mysite.com properly, it was just redirecting to https://www.mysite.com, and if you don't have a wildcard SSL certificate, modern browsers will alert the user that the site is unsafe.
