Really delete old thumbnails and regenerate it!!! Much better then Regenerate Thumbnails"

It's like the original but it cleans up old thumbnails!

I was always annoyed by this plugin, because the original never gave me any problems regenerating thumbnails so why would I need to force it?

But after dealing with 69,000 images I checked what happened. Regenerate thumbnails leaves the old, unused thumbnails!

I wish it had an option to replace sizes in post content though, as I fear this will leave some 404 images. This could be fixed by an htaccess rewrite in your upload directory, but that's a bit hacky!

Works very nice!

I've tried other thumbnail regenerators over the years. This one just takes the cake!

I had trouble getting this to work until I figured out php-gd on Ubuntu wasn't installed. Once installed and php restarted it worked like a charm.

One of my favorite dev plugins

I use this plugin on just about every site I develop.

I appreciate that it deletes previous thumbnail sizes, which helps clean up unused files.

Thank you!

Super great plugin, one of the best. I used it multiple times since I redesigned my custom theme several times, so everytime I needed to regenerate images. The only thing this plugin would make even better is to have a pause/continue button because when there are thousands of them, well it takes time to regenerate and everything can happen in between. :)

Great Plugin

Great solution after server migration
By , for WP 4.3.1

All images and videos were replaced by generic placeholder icons after a server migration, while both the media files and the database paths were each migrated correctly.

I haven't found the cause for this problem, but regenerating thumbnails using this plugin restored all media, just perfect.
