Beautifully made

This is so well made, the configuration is easy as pie and results are so good. The only problem is that it is not really responsive, if that would work better it would be the ideal plugin.

Good!

It's easy to use and a great plugin. But isn't so responsive, however.

After customizing the CSS... EXCELLENT

F.ex rounded borders I got by:

'.frs-slideshow-container#(name of your slideshow) .frs-slide-img-wrapper,
.frs-slideshow-container#(name of your slideshow) .frs-slideshow-content,
.frs-slideshow-container#(name of your slideshow) .frs-slide-img,
.frs-slideshow-container#(name of your slideshow) {
background: transparent;
border-radius: 8px;
}'

works but not great

The link called "How to use?" goes to a blank page titled "about: blank". It's a bit clunky, and there are a few tedious steps that could be streamlined. It does work and it's simple so that's a plus.

Fluid Responsive Slideshow is great.

Beautiful skins. Easy to build. Easy to embed. Easy to customize. Runs like butter.

Problem to integrate the slider in my theme
By , for WP 4.3

This plugin is what I wanted.

But I followed the developer's tutorial but I can not integrate it directly into my homepage (only this page). I only have one index.php and not home.php

Thanks for your help

Great slider, see comments for SSL fix
By , for WP 4.3

This is currently my go-to slider plugin for my wordpress websites. Easy to use, looks good.

Quick note to the plugin devs - there's a line in shortcodes.php that will cause errors with SSL-enabled websites. The current line is:

wp_enqueue_style('OpenSans',"http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:400italic,700italic,400,700",array(),FRS_VERSION);

But should be:

wp_enqueue_style('OpenSans',"//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:400italic,700italic,400,700",array(),FRS_VERSION);

Having http: in that line of code causes a mixed content warning error (chrome, firefox) or a 'show secure content only' message (IE) - either way, the browser will not load the font. Kill the http: bit in the next version, let google serve up the content via https.

Great Pluggin, Simple-Clean-Customizable

I have used FRS on two websites and the function flawlessly. It's refreshing to find a plugin that gives you everything you need to put out a great looking slider without tons of wasted/ useless features. Although I'm having a slight issue with it on a new website, the author seems quick to respond for help. I'll report my experience once it's resolved.

**UPDATE**
As expected, I received a response to my issue very quickly and the problem is resolved!

plugin does not have a valid header

When I saw the comments i have downloaded it immediately!!!
Easy to use?
Yes
* But nothing works!!!!
* Even in the settings page shows some slides and some do not show
* the Shortcode does not appear the sliders not even in a blank page
* Does not exist in the page widgets
* Speed does not change and can not be controlled no matter how values have changed
* If you want to hide the Arrow does not disappear
* If you want to hide the Timer does not disappear ... etc. etc
Very bad
Do not waste your time with it
