When I would post a link to my blog on my Facebook the text to the story would show up with the dimensions of this plug in instead of the blog post itself. Once I removed the plug, everything seems to be OK.
This worked for me because it didn't impact my page load. Awesome plugin.
Difficult to change colors of icons. Had to remove title because it created two line.
Works perfectly!!! I am so glad I do not have to post code onto every page/post now!!! Thank you for your hard work!
Simple to implement, does what it says.
Wow, super easy to set up, and exactly as they say, only what I need, and none of the bloat of other ones that I was using. Absolutely excellent.
Somebody complained that the developer's site's bar doesn't float. One of those sites has a hipster fixed header. In that case, you don't want it to float because the bar will vanish under the fixed header, so he sensibly turned floating off. On Syed's site, it is floating just fine. In other words, it's working as planned. If someone has some CSS ability, they could make it float fine even in the fixed header context.
Here's another gotcha, I wonder if this might go in the FAQ. When I'm logged into my site, the floating bar does go under the WP admin bar. This is fine, because a site visitor will see the bar, and that's the person you want seeing it anyway.
Finally, in some responsive contexts, there might be slight appearance issues, just as there are with almost any plugin. So in that case, some CSS editing needed, just as they said in the FAQ. I'm a CSS hacker, and I found it fine as-is, so I didn't bother playing with it.
Why is this the best social share plugin?
1) It's horizontal and doesn't cover body text on a small screen.
3) Easy to set up.
3) Constantly updated.
Seems so simple, but nobody else has done it.
Don't bother installing this plugin. It doesn't work. The floating feature, the main reason why you'd want this plugin, doesn't work.
You can check the developers' site and see that it doesn't work there either. What a waste of one hour of my time!
Nice software, but I did a trial run where I clicked on the email link. This plug-in routes email through their server, so in effect they are trapping your visitor email addresses. If you disable the email button, it states you have to then allow them to include a link to their product. So I tried that, but the email button did not go away, so I un-installed it. I would gladly pay for this plug-in because it works nicely, but only if they were a little more up front about what they are doing and I could control the behavior of the email button.
