Unfortunately it did not function correctly
By , for WP 4.2.4

I tried configuring this pretty much every way I could with the options provided and the menu items never changed. The list was always the same three things out of a possible 50.

GRUMBLE WordPress.org won't let me edit my star rating once I hit post.

Easy to Use Page Dropdown
By , for WP 4.2.3

All I needed was a simple dropdown widget for all the pages in my site and the Flexi Pages Widget was the best solution and is easy to use.

Flexi Pages Widget - Did exactly what I needed

Flexi Pages Widget - Did exactly what I needed.

It had enough features without being overkill.

Thank you.

simple and efficient

simple but efficient little plugin, thank you!

Does not work at all
By , for WP 3.9.1

Widget is not visible. List of pages is not visible. While on 'customize' page, the widget setting screen is hiding content of the site, so it is unknown if your settings have the desired effect.

Does not work at all. I do not recommend to use this plugin.

Nice but with limits
By , for WP 3.5.1

It does what it says, but like all subpage plugins it only lists ALL subpages dynamically or manually selected ones.

I (and many other people out there) are looking for a WP plugin that:
- works in sidebars (Widget)
- dynamically lists child pages of the CURRENT page as an unordered list (ul li)
- does NOT show any parent pages, home page or totally unrelated subpages (child pages of other pages than the one currently opened)

We are not looking for another menu or sitemap. Complex websites containing hundreds of hierarchical pages require some sort of context sensitive submenu. If I open a page for a certain topic and the content is distributed onto several subpages (child pages) of that topic page, I want to have a sidebar menu (link list) showing me all available child pages, but no other pages (I already have a full menu in my site).

Probably this is difficult with WP, I don't know, I am no programmer. But I see that many people ask for exactly this solution and no plugin so far does exactly what they ask for.

PARENT A
CHILD 1
CHILD 2
CHILD 3
PARENT B
CHILD I
CHILD II
CHILD III
PARENT C
CHILD a
CHILD b
CHILD c

Example: I open PARENT B. I expect the sidebar widget to list this:

PARENT B
CHILD I
CHILD II
CHILD III

(Listing the PARENT B here is optional, I am already on PARENT B, no need to show this as a link again).

There is absolutely no need to show PARENT A or PARENT C or the CHILDREN 1-3 and a-c pages here!

I just wonder why most plugin authors say: this can be done with my plugin, when actually it can't be done and the widgets list a full sitemap.

Manually including/excluding won't work on a sidebar widget that has to show context sensitive lists. We are not using this as a static menu (WP already has all components for doing that).

But it seems this specific plugin doesn't get any more support.

Correct me if I am wrong and please show me a way to do what I described here without programming.

Probably the plugin was never intended to do what I am asking for, therefore it is actually a pretty well done plugin.

Was Perfect Until it Froze Widgets Page
By , for WP 3.8.1

I think there is a limit to how many times this plugin can be used. I used this plugin in conjunction with Widget Logic. I have a large site and needed something that could display related sub pages. I used Flexi Pages over 50+ times and it froze my Widgets Page. I had to deactivate the plugin to get the Widgets page working again.

If you can keep its use under 50 times it really is a great plugin.

Works perfectly

This plugin is much more reliable than 'Sub Post Navigation' & 'Hierarchical Pages', neither of which work properly.

Go with this one!

Simple, powerful, works
By , for WP 3.7.1

I spent quite a long time fiddling with php and creating custom menus to get a solution that doesn't work nearly as efficiently as this one.

Thanks for creating a plugin that creates an effective navigation system for my whole site - and only took 3 minutes to set-up!

Bad for lots of Parent Pages
By ,

It should be noted (and is on the FAQ but should be more apparent) you cannot use this if you have a lot of pages without a parent because it shows those no matter what. For this reason I had to remove and use BE Subpages Widget which worked a lot better for showing just subpages.
