From the plugin description and demo this plugin looked promising to display photo's from Facebook albums. However, by default it shows only 5 photos and on top of that the full Facebook page description in an ugly way.
If you want more photos and no description (which is the whole purpose of a photo album) then you'll need a $ 40,- 1/yr premium version. Without a license this plugin is useless and for that I think it shouldn't be listed in the free WP repository.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind limitation in a free version but only 5 images for an album plugin, common guys.
Only appear ERROR, is bad for me and delete plug-in.
Completed all settings as directed and nothing shows on our page.
Tested on multiple installs. Confirmed.
Why isn't this label Crippleware? This is one worst examples I've ever seen in the WordPress repository. I write themes, plugins, and understand that we all need to make money but this is just excessive. Tone it down a notch man.
So I needed a plugin that would pull any image post with a particular hashtag on it. This was the only plugin who promised to do it.
I installed it, got it all setup, and got only errors. After investigating, Facebook has "depreciated" (or removed the ability...) for ANY plugin to pull posts using hashstags.
So I tried to use this plugin to do it another way. Allow my users to upload pictures to a particular public shared album on my facebook page. The plugin is supposed to be able to pull photos from albums.
Sorry... only if the album is on a Facebook PAGE. Not a profile. (They don't say this anywhere.)
Okay...first, I'm not going to make a page just for this issue...but even if I did, there's no way for other users to upload photos to Facebook page albums because Pages don't offer Shared Public Albums.
After 2 hours of trying to get this to work, I gave up.
Can't activate the plugin, display a fatal syntax error when I try to activate.
Free version is so limited, it is useles... I would recommend you to use another free plugin which has more features, better skin and mainly no issues so far!
Shortcodes do not work in widgets. It would be better if this supported Facebook Pages instead of Groups. Good concept, but disappointed with this plugin.
Caused a lot of problems installing and definitely NOT "slick" as the plugin site suggests!!!
There are far better plugins out there with far more features.
